Has anyone at Bungie ever fired a Pistol?
Anything farther than 50 yards your not going to be able to hit a moving target 3 or 4 shots in a row, your not going to be able to out gun a scout rifle or sniper rifle from all the way across the map with your Hawkmoon.
Hand Cannons have gotten dumb, fix the range......
So worried about auto rifles and shot guns, meanwhile this junk is silly.

oh yes, it's sci-fi fantasy. Therefor several people seem to think that it is a good idea that range is absolutely irrelevant, and weapons designed to shoot across the map like scout and sniper rifles, should just be tossed in the trash as we all adopt the Hawkmoon or Thorn for essentially every battle tactic? Because no one at Bungie has ever caught on fire and done a Scorch Melee, lets just abandon any premis of weapon believability.

4 RisposteHave you seen how big these HAND CANNONS are anyway? Where is the realism in the game? Nova bombs, fists of havoc, ward of dawn (literally solid light), bladedancing (dousing yourself in electricity makes you faster irl right?) bruh realism is not the point of this game.

Seems fine to me, only thing I'd change is the recoil on AR and increase its impact again. Holding down the trigger shouldn't get you long distance kills but if somebody is charging you with a shotty you should be able to down them b4 they get into range. Well, I haven't touched an AR since nerf tbh so idk if they can still do so or not

Might I add some insight. It is not a PISStol, nor a knobchucker. It is a hand....CANNON. you know? Cannon? Big thingy that shoots a pretty big thingy at pretty fast speeds for quite large distances? Ya. That. Not a flabbergaster, or a whatchamacallit (great candy, might I say), nor a thingymabobber, but a hand CANNON.

50 meters in destiny is nowhere near 50 meters in real life. Stand 50m away from a patrol mission. Tell me thats a hard shot in any way

They already nerfed the range. Also, that would mean the shotguns would have to get massive range. Dont think we want that.

Destiny's hand cannon in reality is an auto revolver http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mateba_Autorevolver i have shot one and they are way more stable than a normal revolver
