I'm genuinely sorry bungie but this really really pisses me off! In this video they talk about loot and the satisfying feeling you get when receiving it. Hell at one point in the video the player opens a chest and four or so engrams pop out, why didn't they just do that instead of crappy chests with small amounts of glimmer and materials inside!?
In this video we also hear them talk about what seems to be a fun version of patrol where you meet up with a few other people in a community event. Only difference is that theirs actually sounds challenging and fun and you get good rewards out of it.
Of course I won't mention everything in that video but I just wish that the drop rate in this game was more common. Most of us hardly ever get legendary engrams, I'm not saying they should be extremely common but at least more common than the Destiny we have today. People levels 30 and above should get legendary weapons more often with chances of any random perk, it could be extremely crappy or amazing I really don't care as long as there's more variety...
By the way I'm sorry to ramble but seeing this video made by Bungie just made me angry. Don't get me wrong I still love this game but it could've been so much better and satisfying to play.

Edit 4: there is a pattern of people denying my claim and stating that all of this is in the game already, please proceed to repeatedly stab them in the butt until they comply. If anyone begins to bleed out please remember that there is a first aid kit somewhere in the comments.
Edit 5: a lot of people have said that saturn will be in a later DLC but considering the fact that Destiny 2 is already under development I think (could be wrong) that saturn will just be in Destiny 2 instead along with a few other new places.

23 RisposteI just watched this video for the first time ever. This...is the game. Like...everything in that video is in the game. If it's not in the game the way YOU thought it was going to be in the game...that's on you. But I see this video, and I see the game I've been playing since the beta. Yeah, some things look different. But that's aesthetics. And this video came out weeeeeelll before the beta even started. So they fine-tuned things. Yeah, we can't go to Saturn. Yet. But I'm willing to bet we will. Other than Saturn, there is nothing promised in this video that didn't make it into the game in some way. And you can get engrams out of chests. I've gotten several purple engrams out of chests doing patrols. They just don't come flying out like they do there. This video never promised engrams would be common prizes from chests. In fact...nothing is promised in this video at all. At no point did they say 'we promise you everything in this video is exactly as it will be when the game launches'. Have people seriously never seen early pre-launch footage of other games? Things always change before launch. I bet that if things were reversed, if everything looked the way it does in that video, and a video came out showing that things used to look the way they do now, before the game launched, people would be upset about that. Because they feel like it should have been different? Or because it's the vogue thing now to just...piss all over every single thing. Because we think we're entitled to instantly get everything we want. Even if we're not actually sure what it is we want. TL;DR: This Is early footage of a game that is remarkably close to the game we're all playing, and people are ridiculous.

Bungie has never said they are making destiny 2. It's more likely that they will just continue adding to destiny. At least for quite some time. Edit: just watched the video. As a matter a fact I picked it up a week after release because my brother suggested I should. I love the game. I play every game mode and have had many hours of entertainment. After saying that coming on the forums I've seen tons of threads about Bungie removing content, the game wasn't what they promised and we are being ripped off. Personally I think it's a bunch of bullshit hype I went through every video or trailer Bungie released on Destiny and I don't see it. Being ripped off is ridiculous this game entertains me for about 5 cents an hour. Cut content is not the case with this game I've seen the footage of hackers showing areas not in the original release but these are builds for future content they are not finished product not even close. If they had to start from scratch to build the dlc it would take at least a year if you know anything about game development. When Dark Below came there was a 3 GB download that's a huge amount of content. Unlocking something that's already on disc would be less than 1MB. Also I haven't see anything promised by Bungie that's not in the game. Your claims: Saturn: from what I understand this planet will eventually be a playable area. It was mentioned once and there is no gameplay footage of this area. Chest popping green engrams: early build of the chests that are currently in the game that give green engrams. Weapon upgrade tree: again early build of the upgrade tree that's currently in the game. The in game one is better. Now if you have any other things that I haven't seen let me know. But as it stands it looks like people hyped this game not Bungie.

2 RisposteTotally off base. Here are the 2 things in that video which aren't in the game, yet. I stress "yet" because we have only had the fist DLC, with at least 3 more in the coming year. 1) Loot chests erupt with engrams - But, do we really care? It's the same loot. Just a slightly different 2-second visual graphic. 2) Saturn is mentioned - We cannot currently play on Saturn. But, we can play on Mercury, which wasn't mentioned by them. And, we will soon be able to play in the asteroid belt, which also wasn't mentioned. So, in truth, they OVERdelivered on this count. Other than those 2 things, there isn't a single thing in that video which was not delivered upon.

6 RisposteYour account is a damn good example of why everyone still complaining needs to just be quiet. Between your two characters you have 346.3 hours played. If you just bought the base game that's about 5.77 hours per dollar or around 17 cents per hour. If you bought the base game and the expansion pass for 35 dollars on top of it it's 3.64 hours per dollar rounded down; 27 cents per hour of game time. You've easily exceeded the point at which it's okay to say you're disappointed about what the game could have been. Everyone needs to just move on from the butthurt and denial about the overhype and focus on what the game is.

11 RisposteWhy the fk does everyone wanna make this game easy a -blam!-? Legendary items SHOULD be a rare drop. And exotics should be even rarer drops. If they just dropped.legendary engrams left and right everyone would get gear too fast. Having to.work twords the gear and hoping you get a drop is a hell.of alot better than getting 10 legendary items a day. It actually feels good when you get legendary items now, if they were more common drops then it wouldnt be as rewarding when you do get a good . roll on a legendary. The difficulty to obtain items is what this game is all about. And it will continue to progress. Maybe this game just isnt for you mate.

1 RispondiThis is a prebuild look of the game that was not anywhere finished. Saturn was never shown in that video, it was only mentioned once. Legendary engrams are just that, legendary, and should be rare, not fly out of a chest like boobs in a porno.

3 RisposteI did that public event yesterday it's the exact same. One tank and a few enemies. The only difference is there happened to be other teams. I've done public event with like 10 ppl. Honestly I think they are better with 3 or 4.

Destiny needs like 80 more exotics, and 20 more added with each patch. That's the biggest draw, and there should be more exotics to go around.
