How the hell they did that I don't know... Why the hell wasn't Containment sent to pick it up? Bombing runs had already alerted them. Only so big of a window for attack. Anything we have here to combat it? Sabot rounds cut them up quickly. The Tyrannosaurs should be capable of ripping an Indy up if they hunt together. Good, good. [i]A sigh[/i] What about the rifts? They can apparently track them. How? No idea. But the main base has jamming systems as do the ships. They can't get on the base itself, but they very well could make another rush for the perimeter. Speaking of the perimeter, how goes reparation? Fences are back up. The woods are tossed around like Lincoln Logs. We've got crews moving them to burning piles. What of the ships? They'll be out of commission for a while, but we do have two new fleets, fresh in. Good. What of the mess they left on my land? The raptors got most of the corpses. I think it's time I make an appearance. They'll just [i]love[/i] to have you around. I'll be on the airfield soon enough. Be ready. Of course, Mr. Schrader.

Blackjack stands aboard The Razor's Edge, his ship relatively untouched. He seems to be talking to someone over his radio..[/i] They actually tried to fight the fleets, and they took three carriers down temporarily. How bad? Flight decks have massive holes in them from kamikaze attacks. A few destroyers have the same damage. And the rest? Phalanx systems and SAMs took care of them before they got into range. The battle on the ground, were we successful? Yes. Kept them out with relatively few casualties on our side. Found out their soldiers are just civvies. That's too bad. Such a shame to send the lambs to slaughter. She thinks it will hurt us. It won't. They have no idea what we've done before. Phoenix mentioned the incident aboard the [i]Ocean's Breeze[/i]. Did he now? Oh yeah... I think they want to push us to fight. And I don't mean a skirmish.... Ah yes... But the ones who rattle the cage so often get bit by the dog inside. The Monarchy soldiers look bewildered as grey powder swirls and slithers beneath their feet like constantly churning serpents. BOOM, the electromagnetic field controlled thermite goes off between the ranks of the enemy; blue and white clouds of explosions filling the levelled forest ground. Through the flares of demolition and obliterated flesh comes a figure in black armour. He is about 6"6 in the armoured exosuit with multiple firearms attached to his person. The most notable and visible armaments being the shoulder mounted M134 minigun and the large mechanical katana sheath belted to his side. His cyclops-like light in the middle of the helmet glows a bright blue, adding further illumination to the cobalt burning grounds. A strange emblem is painted on the chest-- a blue phoenix rising from a different shaded flame. So now, standing from the pyrotechnic aftermath of the ash-like thermite, Commander Cobalt Phoenix of Venom Incorporated. [/b] [quote]You wanted to parley face to face, Burke? As he steps down from the gunship, an MG3 is in his hand, and Blackjack is standing there to greet him..[/i] Well, look who's back. Spare me the welcoming party, Wolfie.
