Thorns 2nd bounty is ridiculous
So I've been playing destiny for about 4 months now and early last month I got my 2nd exotic bounty. I chose the thorn bounty this time as I already had invective. The first bounty was easy. I finished all the strikes with no deaths in about an hour including loading. But then I reached the second bounty. I first had to aquire a void damage weapon which took an hour. Then I've now spent several weeks trying to get the five hundred kills in crucible but I find it impossible with the now dozens upon dozens of ice breaker users making it very difficult to get anywhere on the map. This basically makes it that i only really gain 4 points in the bounties as I seem to be killed twice for every one void damage kill.
Do you think the crucible bounties for exotics should be nerfed? Or should newer players continue to be stamped into the the ground?

Get corrective measure, sword breaker. And atheons epilogue, normal mode raid weapons that are used for that bounty, especially corrective measure

Its hard but worth it. Use void shotgun and machine gun. U will b rewarded with one if the best PvP guns in game

Brruuuuhh I did the whole bounty on like 6 hours and half of it I went to the movies with my friends

2 RisposteI did rumble...got 80-100 points per match. Just be a dirty player. I think that's what the purpose of the bounty is. To make the player "corrupted" or dirty, just like how the gun is, hence when you finish this part of the bounty, you get the "Corrupted Hand Cannon."

The crucible part is easy compared to the strike

If you think the PvP part sucks wait until you have to do the Phogoth strike. It's an ass kicker...

Step one: acquire void fusion rifle. Step two: sit in corner and camp control. Step three: laugh at how easy the bounty is a and go show off your shiny new thorn

Since writing this I have acquired 2 void weapons.

So IB is stopping you..? It's not that bad, get a good set of weapons and go to town. Took me 8-10 games with Praedyth's Revenge/Shotty and Truth.

A void sniper is probably the best option. Learning to camp pays off in this case. Thorn bounty is imo the most difficult, but it's still worth the effort. Thorn's so good.

Got that part done in 2 hours... Averaged 50 points a game

The point of the bounty is that it's hard.

It's not that terrible. You do have to play like a bit of a jerk to get it done, but hey, gotta do what you gotta do.

Dead orbit sells a great void shotgun. I found myself getting most of my shotgun kills while jumping. Stick to capture but do not waste time capturing. Know that your enemy is trying to capture what your team has. (You know where they are going to be) Chip away at the 500.

Control is your friend, amigo. Camp the control points, crouched, and don't move, if your weapon is fusion rifle or shotgun. Also helps if your are a voidwalker. I suck all kinds on pvp, but I managed it in about 4 hours, and now I'm decent, lol. It takes a lot of patience, but you will make it.
