Thorns 2nd bounty is ridiculous
So I've been playing destiny for about 4 months now and early last month I got my 2nd exotic bounty. I chose the thorn bounty this time as I already had invective. The first bounty was easy. I finished all the strikes with no deaths in about an hour including loading. But then I reached the second bounty. I first had to aquire a void damage weapon which took an hour. Then I've now spent several weeks trying to get the five hundred kills in crucible but I find it impossible with the now dozens upon dozens of ice breaker users making it very difficult to get anywhere on the map. This basically makes it that i only really gain 4 points in the bounties as I seem to be killed twice for every one void damage kill.
Do you think the crucible bounties for exotics should be nerfed? Or should newer players continue to be stamped into the the ground?

Thorn is a weapon where you have to demonstrate some skill to acquire. If you don't have the necessary skill, cry to the forums and delete the bounty.

If you're having trouble with snipers then snipe back at them. Just make sure it's with a void one :)

Mine took a day but I was lucky in that I had recently got a nicely rolled void fusion rifle with an extremely quick charge time

2 Rispostethe mighty Thorn is a great weapon and the path to acquire it fits it perfectly. No part should be nerfed and honestly the crucible part is the easy part. I'm not a huge pvp fan but I got it done in 3-4 hours. Control is your best friend when everyone is busy taking flags smoke em with void. 2nd Thorny Guardians

And u want to nerf the EASY CONTENT shit, i say buf it soo all the enimies have a burn modifier that does 3X damage to ONLY GAURDIANS! then we'll have something thats difficult, and have it return you to the starting game screen if you wipe. And delete all gear you had equipt, cause it was soo "HARD" TO GET. I think the bounty should be harder. 500 points with void weapons, 500 with solar, 500 with arc and 1000 with kinetic. Deaths slow your progress.

The Thorn bounty should stay as it is because Thorn is such a good gun.

I pulled it of the 1st time with a green fusion rifle. Took a few hours to get used to it but after that I completed it that same evening. Just only use your void weapon until you feel good about it. Then pull out your primary to keep yourself from deing. Remember that if you get a void kill for every death you will get there, just might take awhile

But then I got all the other bounties and somehow managed to finish them (besides the elusive Pocket Infinity) so when I got to the option again I figured, if other people can do it, so can I. But I failed, horribly. I could not do it alone. The best I ever had was 70 or so with a shotgun in anomaly. But then me and my friends made a strategy and this is my advice to you. Get yourself a void shotgun, if possible Atheons Epilogue and a void machine gun. Grab a friend with a Titan and go in the crucible together. Play Clash. Have the Titan watch your back, make bubbles for you and help weakening enemies for easier kills. Find good spots to camp for a while before moving on. Don't go into hot spots unless you know what you are doing. Don't get separated. If the other team has too many hardcore players, leave. If you come upon a map where you always lose points, leave. If you get too reckless, calm down and slow down your approach. I did it in two sessions (consisting of several games each). I had the advantage of a warlock so it might be harder if you're a hunter. If you don't have any good weapons, save the bounty for later. You can do it. You just need the right approach.

All I did was Praedyth's Revenge and Skyshock. And after 5 matches of careful gameplay and no deaths with a K/D of 20 I got the 500 points.

It's 5 points for a void damage kill and -2 for a death. Get a void damage fusion rifle

Helps if your character subclass is a void type, like Defender or Voidwalker. Then grenade and melee kills count. Other than that. Get 3 void weapons and play it safe.
