6 RisposteKilled crota on hard. A player received sword breaker this week. If you skip normal you can in fact receive normal weapon om hard. It's the same drop rate as normal mode. The problem is. Usually people get sharded on normal mode.

Yeah learn how to read... They are not saying you get normal loot (guns) in hard. You get the normal loot (value wise/roll wise) when you do hard without doing normal. Not the ACTUAL guns just the other misc stuff that can drop from both.

I have beaten hard mode crota alot about 20 times with different people helping as the swordbearer. I have never seen any normal weapons drop ever.

6 RisposteI think the problem stems that there is no video or image proof and all there is to go in is an article that can be read two different ways. Let me elaborate: 1. The "they don't drop" way of reading it. The loot tables clearly show which items can drop in which mode. Those that show as hard or normal only drop in those modes and those that show as "any" can drop in either mode. Surely if specials or heavies can be won on hard as well as normal then they should be classed as "any". When you run Hard first you get double rewards from the ANY and HARD tables. 2. The "they can drop" way of reading it. The normal and hard only items are not listed as "any" because you cannot gain them when running normal and then hard mode one after the other, the weapons are exclusive to that mode. If you run Hard first then you get double rewards from either loot tables as they are combined (as they were in VoG). Now I personally have not seen a normal drop when running hard first but then with only a small handful of hard completions I've had far less exposure than you have and I have no reason to disbelieve you. However, that means I need to take your word for it in conjunction with the evidence from your link. It has been pointed out by others that the articles has errors on it (exotic armour from Ir Yut is being questioned) and they have made errors before (regarding how to gain Crux of Crota) and so it stands to reason they might have got that last paragraph wrong and you are merely stoking the fires. I'm sure you see the dilemma and why players are querying why there is no video evidence or screenshots of it occurring. Me personally, I'm swaying towards the it could drop as I've no reason to disbelieve you, but as I've mentioned unless I see it happen myself or see a clip of it occurring I'm unlikely to ever fully believe 100%.

5 RisposteAre people saying that secondary weapons only drop on Normal for Crota's End only, or for Vault of Glass too? Because I DEFINITELY got a secondary weapon on VoG hard. The first time I beat the Templar on hard, it dropped Fatebringer and Praedyth's Revenge for me. And I'm pretty sure that I got Swordbreaker from Crota on Hard, but I will admit to being unsure about that one.

Done HM crota at least 5+ times a week since it was available and never seen a secondary or heavy dropped for anyone.

Well let me tell you this since you obviously don't play since you have to go to a webpage to get your info. No black hammers or hungers for many hard mode Crota's. Play one normal after being informed of it not dropping on hard, hunger and next run black hammer. Just accept bungie screwed up as usual and messed up the double drops on crota. Or keep wasting your time on hard for specials and heavys. Good luck :)

I have 30ish HM completions. Never had a Secondary or Heavy drop for me or anyone else in my raid team. ANYONE who says it can/has ia either trolling you or just mistaken.

You realize it's for exotics right? The raid secondary and heavy are normal only. Look at your chart again.

From over 60 hard completions, I have never seen a single special or heavy drop. This loot table is also based on how VoG worked. "Eat shit lol"

4 RisposteNo special or heavy has EVER dropper for anyone when ive done hm crota. Keep in mind that i do it 10+ times a week to help out noobs after ive done it on all 3 of my charecters
