No F*CKING luck with Helm Engrams what so ever...
I think I've spent over 500 Motes trying to get Symbiote and Third Man in 3 weeks now...
Guess what?
Yep, you guessed it: I still haven't got either...
(I HAVE SYMBIOTE NOW, whooooo!)
So, anyone else have any problems like this?
Edit: To those who say why I didn't but it when Xur sold it months ago...easy: I made my Hunter 2 weeks ago.
Edit: To those who have it, then nicely done. However, I'm asking has anyone had crappy luck like me recently...?
Edit: I have 80 odd MoL left, so I'm going to buy 3 more and see what I get...
EDIT: I GOT 1/2, welcome to the family Symbiote! Boom. Could have had a better stat roll though...102 max discipline meh...but get in!

FFS... Looking back at all them Motes I've spent... God, I was one desperate f*cker! But, at least I finally have my Third Man now - sh*t roll, but it'll do. Thanks for the read, have a good day!

I only had two shots at getting Third Man this week and I finally got it! Only problem is, I realized I'm having a hard time parting from my Don't Touch Me's. I used to hate them but now I think they are one of the best pieces of exotic armor. Small cool down + Shadow Jack means you are invisible almost every time anything hits you. I could run the first 3/4 of the hard raid backwards and blindfolded now.

4 RisposteMy exotic engrams have never worked out for the class I hoped. When I only had a warlock I got hunter items when I was buying them with my hunter I only got Titan items. I ended up with great stuff just had to grind away to finally use it.

1 RispondiBefore I had a hunter, helmet engrams always turned into hunter helmets. I've had 8 knucklehead radars (9 now that I bought it). Saint 14? Never from an engram. MotTM is proving to be very difficult to find.

1 RispondiYep chasing 3rd man for the last month... Every time Xur sells helmets I buy 2... Trying to save some motes for IB rerolls... I was actually given Symbiote on NF this week and then an engram became one on Xurday...

I just look at exotic engrams as an exotic shard for 23 Motes of Light. Anything that is worth keeping is just gravy. And I have had a fair amount of gravy. FWIW, I haven't earned anywhere near 300 MoL. I think I have purchased an exotic engram 3 or 4 times, and I don't waste MoL on anything else.
