Booted 4 red death users today
Seriously why would you try to use red death when you don't have it upgraded?
It's trash without the upgrades. But I guess you can't expect much from someone who didn't earn it, let alone intelligence.
Edit:
Raids don't earn you xp.
Using a non-upgraded gun "red death" without the perks is useless.
Kind of like that petition to remove this post.
It won't do anything because if you read the code of conduct, you'd realize I'm not breaking the rules.

I would've too. You don't go into raids with weapons that aren't upgraded. You will bring the raid team down and you won't be able to kill anything. Think logically before you start a raid.

Wait it's being given out for nothing, where can I get this free weapon? Sarcasm aside not a lot of people seem to get the point OP is trying to make (might be due to the childish comment ) , if you buy the weapon then jump into something like a raid with it you are not going to be that much help Where as if you take the time to level up the weapon to get the good perks then you are going to be helpful

You're also correct where you say that raids don't give XP. I had a few kids argue with me when they have a piece that's so close to being upgraded and they're doing the raid for XP and when the raid is finished they notice no XP was giving. Ignorant people are y'know ignorant. Don't worry OP. Your not a fgt cause you're right, if uo come into my FireTeam with ANY primary/heavy/secondary gun not even upgraded you can't join. Cause you won't be doing the damage.

7 RisposteOP is 100% correct. Don't use Red Death in the raid if you don't have it upgraded. It doesn't gain xp from raids no guns or armor do.

The replies to this post show the lack of intelligence among the population. From not knowing that doing raids don't give much xp to people replying that xurning is earning when this post has nothing to do with that. Especially with the latter issue, some people really need to improve their reading comprehension capabilities. Don't know how some people made it out of high school on these forums.

Guys you don't get what he's saying. He's not saying that they didn't earn it because they got it from xur or that they aren't good, he's saying you shouldn't walk into a raid with a gun that doesn't even have perks yet.

4 RisposteWhy does it matter if it's upgraded or not. They enjoy using the gun, all that matters. CE is a joke, you can run the whole raid using a uncommon gun and be just fine.

5 RisposteWhile I agree a (hard) raid isnt the place to train up your gear, you do earn experience in raids. You get experience for every enemy you kill. Which can really pile up, atleast in vog. My best streak for the conflux part alone was 299 (just 1 kill away from a clean 300, dammit). Just thought it was weird that you thought that you get nothing from the raid. (Unless you were exaggerating, but I wasnt sure).

Answer: it's not, not one bit different. But I would like to hear anyone that can say otherwise. In the end it's just a game, people need to stop crying about this that and the other and play. Complete agree with you there are far better exotics and even legionaries to use that NON upgraded Red Death i didnt use mine until i finished getting the red death perk
