it would be great if xur weapons would have a different color than the RNG counterpart so people could tell how they were obtained , they can keep the same stats and everything , just make them cosmetically different so we can keep feeling special
thanks bungie in advance for future implementation
you know some people are proud of they earned weapons and xur makes us feel less special , we deserve feeling special for all the hard work we put into a game
imagine if you just got your paycheck from a hard work ,while you carry your hard earned money home you see Oprah on the other side of the road handing out money to all the unemployed people who didnt do anything to earn theirs , how would you feel ?

1 RispondiYour post should be a different color so people know to avoid it.

1 RispondiYou're probably a racist.

So, that should be spread game wide then? Any purchased gun should be different than a reward gun? I worked to get the marks to buy a vangaurd legendary. Not a bad gun (I've come to enjoy it actually). I've had it for a few weeks. Tuesday I was rolling back to back ROC's and got dropped into a group that was almost through with the Nexus (He was down to about 1/3 health). stayed up on the cliff and sniped 4 enemies and put the final round into the boss. 5 kills total. Same nice little legendary pops. Same thing can happen with somebody dropping into a raid. Nope, not right at all to try and differentiate what is purchased from EARNING the coins to buy it vs. having it randomly gifted to you.

50 RisposteBest Answer NO! You know what WOULD be great? If all elitist pieces of shit like you left this world. Not just the game, but the world, in real life. It is people like you and your cancerous ideology that makes this world what it is. Look, I "earned" my Red Death, and by earned I mean, happened to get lucky with a chest in HM VoG. And you know what, I don't get two flying phucks how anyone else got theirs. I don't spend one second thinking about it. I don't need to validate myself or my effort by being able to instantly segregate myself from people that got theirs from Xur. And lets keep it real here, that is what this is about. You want to be able to instantly tell who got theirs from Xur so that you can talk trash in chat so you can make yourself feel better. Here's a newsflash for you pal, anyone that purchases ANYTHING with strange coins EARNED IT. Why? Because you have to EARN the strange coins from doing content. It is the EXACT same principle that money works on in real life. I go to work and EARN money, I then spend that money on stuff that I want. In Destiny, people do heroics and strikes to EARN coins, they then spend those coins on things they want. COINS ARE NOT GIVEN OUT FOR FREE. Also, finally, your mentality leads me to believe that you are a pathetic excuse for a human being. Do you really need to feel validated by your exploits in a video game? Is that what you worry about? Your standing in the Destiny community? Oh no, I "earned" my xyz and now all those peasants are getting one for free." Oh no, what about the social order. Get a life. Nobody cares. And to answer your question, what I would I think if I saw Oprah handing out money to all the "UNEMPLOYED" people? I would think GREAT, it's good to see a fellow human being helping another human being in time of need. There is probably a special place in Heaven for her, you know, for showing compassion, empathy, a willingness to help ones fellow man, that kind of stuff. And, it would probably lead me to question what am I doing to help further the human cause? Wait, let me guess, you would be pissed at all the "leechers." Huh. Goddamn you suck and I hate people like you.

The arrogance on this one...

I've yet to buy a weapon from xur. Apparently my guardian was a saint in his previous life and is now getting some fantastic loot drops. However, i play with a guy who is an absolute beast. He started playing before me, plays just as much as me, and wrecks shop. He has had to buy his last word, ice breaker, patience and time, hard light, and truth. In the last week he has had to watch 2 members of our clan get gjallarhorn and watch me break down my 3rd suros. It really drives me crazy when people get on here and say that he didn't earn any of the weapons he purchased from zur.
-
LOL hard work? Think of it this way: You and a buddy do the same nightfall. You get Ice Breaker, your bud gets coins. Xur sells the Ice Breaker that weekend. Now (assuming your bud did heroic as well) your bud can also get the Ice Breaker. The only difference in this scenario is that you got a better roll, so your bud had to do MORE work (run the heroic) to get the SAME THING. Your weapons you "earn" from raids are not sold by XUR (black hammer, fang, ect ect) so you can at least wear those around and "show off" your special snowflake weapons.
-
Just a bad, bad idea. Who cares how you got your stuff? No one is stealing them. We get them by lucky drops, or by using our well earned strange coins. I for one am just glad I have them and am equally glad that my fellow guardians have them too, especially when they are helping me with a raid, strike, or event.
-
Never go full....
-
3 RisposteThat would only create more "discrimination" among stupid people. !!!!!why can't we just have weapon shaders!!!!!
-
3 RisposteSo if I get coins from the nightfall 3 weeks in a row and then I use said coins to buy an exotic off xur have I not earned it? Your logic is illogical. You're a moron. Go away.
-
This would just encourage more bullying
-
Seperate but equal? Sounds like a slippery slope man.
-
Hahaha very funny! But yeah, they'd never do that anyway.
-
Yeah let's do that so there is a way for twats to criticise and possibly bully players who have bought things from Xur. Good call mate. Idiot!!!
-
This again. You're a -blam!-wit
-
Different colors would be sweet.
-
1 RispondiYou forgot the satire tag
-
1 Rispondium... Coins are earned... A drop is luck have a nice day
-
Bought my Icebreaker and about 1/3 of my exotics including gear tbh and I really dont care, nor should anyone else. Just because you have more time/luck to put into the game, doesnt mean you're better.
-
Imagine if you got your paycheck from hard work (earning coins) then you are walking home with your hard earned money and you see Oprah (RNG) giving out free money (exotics) to random people for just being there at the right time. How does that make you feel?
-
5 RisposteI see Holocaust written all over this post. A little yellow star for every "Xurned" gun. Jesus man get over yourself. You aren't any better than me just because RNG dropped an item I bought. Besides, I'm sure you've bought items so shush up chief.
-
2 RisposteThat makes no sense. I do not understand people's weird obsession in this game with the whole "Xurning" and "Earning" crap. These discussions are getting really old Guardians. SMH.
-
3 RispostePeople earn coins, Coins buy items. Items are earned. Your idea is retardation in its finest sampling. Have nice day.
-
xur exotic gear is earned through coins. exotic drops are luck. "not earned" raid gear and weapons are also earned. they should be the most powerful in game but for whatever reason they aren't. stop with the BS. i got my jellyhorn from a patrol level dreg. total "LUCK" got my icebreaker from xur after doing nightfall & weekly heroic. earned! got my sword breaker from raid. very much EARNED.
-
I think we should be able to put shaders on our weapons.
