How PvE players get Thorn
A pathetic group tried to get me to join in an trade deaths with 5 others in Skirmish. Absolutely ridiculous. All of them were lvl 30-32. I had offered to help because I assumed they wanted a good fireteam to do it legitimately.
Skill in PvE = getting carried by your team and finding glitches and exploits apparently
Edit: This headline is inflammatory. I know there are many good PvE'ers. I simply think the fact that there were several 32s in this group shows something important.

I did it before the thorn was buffed with a blue void sniper, that part of the bounty is the easiest in my opinion.

1 RispondiThis is funny because I never play crucible, like literally never and it only took me like 6-7 games to get the thorn. Just about everyone who plays crucible is trash and if you can't do the bounty then guess what you're trash, it's not that hard.

Gdtting to 32 was ridicously easy compared to getting to 30 in my opinion soworst players are maxed level

From reading the comments, I do believe that the jury of your peers has found you guilty of being an ignorant asshole. "All pve players cheat for their thorn" is hereby known as a false statement, and those using it shall be guilty of committing the crime of being an ignorant asshole (like yourself) On the plus side.... Cool story bro.

I could say that all of the PvP players have no skill for running around with shotguns and fusion rifles when i see people doing that, and by your logic I would be correct, yes? Good... now go play with your little fusion rifle. [spoiler] I mainly played PvE (and when i got my thorn, I really ONLY played PvE). I got thorn twice completely legitimately, so you can't say "all PvE players" as that is a generalization. Was it annoying with Atheon's Peashooter? Absolutely. My second time around was 10x easier because I had Praedyth's Revenge and Corrective Measure. Also, I don't think I "exploited and glitched" my way to soloing Crota today. Did every part the way it was intended to be (formed the bridge, did the entire abyss run, knocked Crota down with a rocket launcher, brought the witches out the normal way for Death Singer). I mostly play pve, I play PvP and I would wreck you in it lol

Almost everytime a really good pve player is at least decent in pvp. If you suck at the game you will suck on everything. Unfortunately there are more ways to get carried in pve than pvp. Pvp takes skill, period. Shotgun or whatever you have to be a GOOD decision maker to excell in the game as a whole.

Listen, don't clump everyone in this same category, just because you found a couple people boosting. I'm a mainly PvE player and I got mine legit with ease.

1 RispondiProbably shouldn't generalize your statement to all PVE players. I have done the thorn bounty 3 times now just by playing crucible. No boosting, exploiting, etc. I am sure there are more :P

1 RispondiThose guys are scrubs and don't deserve Thorn, I'm a PvE'r and had to do the Thorn bounty solo as a noob back in September. If you actually play legit, you become a better player rather than some cheesy scrub.

It's not THAT hard, think I've completed the bounty 7-8 times. Never anything but legit control games for me. Void sniper, and an HMG. Just gotta play a little more defensive to keep from going backwards.

Took me a couple of hours really trying to play well. Don`t like PvP.

Word of Crota and some rare shotgun did it for me, only touch online when I need to for an exotic bounty. did it quite quick as well which I was glad about as I am not a fan of PvP.
