In video games, they used to make it so female characters had smaller hit boxes, so I would select a female always, it would spare a bullet or two, and I got used to selecting females.

8 RisposteWhy do people feel the need to analyze why someone creates a character the way they have? Honestly, I see threads like these from time to time and wonder how many people are so sexually insecure with themselves that they need to ask these questions. I have both male and female characters because I like variety and gender is the only way other than class that we can have variety. If there was a velociraptor race, I'd make one of those...but our options are limited. The fact of the matter is, the sculpts for the male faces are terrible and the female, while it isn't really varied, is better. Bungie dropped the ball in terms of character creation. Coming from a background of rpgs and pen and paper gaming for 20+ years, I have no problem with people making something they are not. The game is a game. It's an escape. It's a means to do something different. Don't dog on someone because they made a fictional character that has a different sex than what they are in real life. Perhaps you find it creepy because you have some inner issues you need resolved or recognized....or maybe you need to just let it go and let people play the game. It's not like these threads are hawking on girls that play male characters. </rant>

For a few reasons. 1.) I like hunters. The hunter Armour is incredibly feminine looking to me. 2.) Hunters are suppose to be agile, quick and for lack of a better word graceful. Which although not always true, females tend to have that quality more so then males. 3.) (And this seems crazy and I am sure the hit box is the same) it seems to me that the females are smaller which makes it hard to spot them. I have nothing to back up my claim there. Just a crazy notion. I have a bunch of crazy believes like warlocks are males. They are hardcore loners who lurk in the dark practicing dark magic with almost a sinister nature which creates an imagine of a guy in a dark candle light room and that scary crota raid helmet.. Damn nova bombs....

I still don't see what the issue is. It's a game meant for enjoyment. I mean if guys should make guy characters then that means any game with a female protagonist must be played only by female gamers.
