Are us pve'ers ever going to get another option to get #thorn
I absolutely despise pvp but want thorn......I can never get my point total above 30. is there ever going to be another option to get thorn?

Seriously i did this week TWO of the game. On a hunter with nothing but.a void shotgun!

No. Suck it up and just do the bounty. It's not that bad. Five hours is all it took me, and I know people that did it in much less.

1 RispondiPeople who have Thorn would be justifiably furious if they changed this now. Many, many people hate PVP but sucked it up and did the bounty anyway.

Just use Atheon's Epilogue and it shouldn't be hard. Just try and get a 1.0 or higher kd and it will be easy

If you're intending to use it in PvE it's pretty much useless anyway. I wouldn't bother.

Nope. And dont need one. Im the worst pvper I know and I got it. Time to learn some new skills and work for what you want instead of saying its too tough to get, or I dont like pvp. I know people who got it in a single day. Took me a month. Having Thorn is one of the few badges of either skill or just downright stubborn determination.

2 RisposteAssists count too. It's 5 points for a kill and -3 for a death. It's not that difficult. At worst it's just time consuming. Play Control, be a shotgun using whore and use Truth as your heavy weapon.

If you can't do the bounty then you don't really deserve the gun dude, think about it.

Be patient and do what everyone else does and camp. Find a good void weapon and play smart. Good luck

What I did for it was sit and camp with a fusion rifle doesn't have to legendary I used a rare one and kept get 5 and 10 kill streaks u just have to sit and camp protecting a flag or sit and camp killing

I had a harder time completing the PvP part of the invective bounty.

Lol. I never, ever play pvp. Did that portion of the bounty in 6/7 matches.

I'm used to be a pve exclusive player then i decided I wanted thorn. I climbed down off my pedestal and started grinding. Took a while to get decent and by the time I finished the bounty I was ok. The next week was iron banner and I wanted the hmg so I grinded that all week. The more I played the better I got and the better I got the more I enjoyed it. Suck it up and do the work if you want the gun. It's very powerful and should be hard to obtain but it's more than worth it. Im now the proud owner of 2 Thorns soon to be 3.

It sucks when you're not good at pvp. What the thorn bounty does is it forces you to get better. Is it pretty? Nope! Does it make you want to scream and cry and have your family question your sanity? Very possible.. But do a search on thorn here. A lot of pvp ers hate thorn. It's "cheap" to them. Or its really good in pvp and pve. It means that you will get better at pvp and you'll get a great weapon out of it. Keep at it.. Lose all your points and try again. You'll get that beautiful insane gun sooner or later!

9 RisposteDid you solo Xyor? If not, you don't deserve your Thorn. I have helped countless friends through that strike with many barely contributing. It is so easy I am embarrassed for those PvP players who constantly complain that is the hardest part of the bounty. Luckily for them, they have PvE players to lean on like a crutch. For the bounty, I wish it were backwards: teammate kills in Crucible count triple and you are forced to solo Xyor. Then we can revisit the topic on who deserves Thorn. No, I don't have Thorn because I despise PvP.

Honestly, it's not that bad. Grab a group or play rumble solo. Takes a bit but not impossible
