Little update for those interested.... Family commitments slowed my progress...I got to lvl15....there's always next time Going to continue to level my 2nd warlock so i can have 2 chances at next weekend night fall and bank 18 coins... I'd just like to thank every one for their input, useful or not

A trick for good coins is decode 4 or more engrams or more and it's guarteed at least one strange coin

Farm for engrams on Mars, using the cave near the Vex portal (video attached). Normally when Xur is in the tower I get more strange coins from decoding engrams at the Cryptarch.

dude stop with the strikes its not guaranteed you'll make 6 coins in drops in 2 days. Just level up a new character to 20. Takes a few hours no doubt but manageable in 2 days if you're busy - and then get 9 coins assured through weekly.

Not that you are unaware, but make sure to do the weekly heroics on hard. That's 9 easy coins even easier with a team

New character makes the most sense as if you find yourself in this situation, you'll already have another character to knockout the weekly again.

4 RisposteIt takes less than 10 hours to level up a new character, then you can do weekly again with it. Alternatively farming ROC for 10 hours 'should' net you 6 coins.

Create another character of the same class, level to 20,swap main character gear to second character and do the weekly. Problem solved
