Titan Exotic Armor Help
I recently started a Titan and would like to know which exotic armor piece to aim for. Please provide a specific armor piece if you choose other.
I already have a helm of saint 14 and crest of alpha Lupi in the vault, but those may not be the best choice to go with.
Your opinion is appreciated.
Edit 1: I would like to use the Titan mainly for raids at this point. I still like my hunter more, but that may change as I learn the Titan.
Edit 2: it seems Saint-14 is winning in the polls but ruin wings is popular in the comments. Thanks for your insight everyone!

3 RisposteHonestly this post needs a clarification. You can only equip one exotic piece of armor at a time and so all of these are great. Why not collect them all and max level them because all are good in many different situations in destiny. You shouldn't have a vote on it because even though I'm sure you wanna know what's the best exotic gear per se. The best thing about destinys exotic system is that they all can be used for strengths in many different situations. Like helm saint 14 is awesome in pve. But helm of inmost light or armamentarium are great in both pve and PVP. All depends on your play style as well. So my advice is try to get them all. You never know when you'll need it on that next fight. Another great tip for those who run Crota raid on hard is to get that bonus from exotic helm insurmountable skullfort because once you pick up orbs you gain health back. Crucial in Crota hard for those who've experience that difficulty already.

I am the most experienced titan here, fact (look at my titan's stats). From my experiences with all of the above exotics and thorough gameplay with [u]all of them[/u], I can easily say that the Skullfort is the best. It is useful because it triggers Transfusion every time you kill something with Storm Fist. This is very useful if you're about to die and there's an enemy in front of you with little health, punch them with Storm Fist- boom, health regeneration. It is also great in PvP for that same reason.

Just depends on the situation.. ruin wings and saint-14 are arguably the best exotics for the titan.

Saint 14 good for PvP too. Drop a bubble in a tight space that the enemy will either have to run through and go blind, or waste a super on it.

No Backup Plans are the coolest looking exotic gauntlets, so if you're aiming for uniqueness get those (They look great on female Titans too, however AVOID Ruin Wings on a female Titan, they look hideously oversized) As for skills, read the other comments xD

I personally use Mk 44 stand asides on my titan because I don't have raid boots so I need that to get to 32, but helm of saint is probably the best.

The helm of saint 14 Is great for crota raid. Armentarum is great for pvp and pve. Good for both raids. In the raids the chest piece seems to drop more often than the helmet. So I would go with glass house or saint if you can, just to get to 32 faster and run defender. Ruin wings is fun for strikes but you can't control the amount of heavy it drops. I would rather always know I have a second grenade.

Insurmountable is really handy in raids because of the health when you pick up an orb. And for PvP or pve if you need health just melee kill someone and keep the death train rollin

The armamentarium for sure, can't go wrong with extra heavy ammo and an extra grenade. But Saint-14 is still good, but is only really useful when you use your super and use it to your advantage.

I chose Crest of Alpha Lupi so I can revive your sorry ass if your Helm didn't work out quite how you wanted, then provide more orbs for you so you can go -blam!- up again. With the extra auto ammo it'll help with the bite of the auto nerf, but, it's not a big nerf and I hardly noticed anything. Special ammo for those who want it and speed revives both ways as well as extra orb production. It's the perfect support class option.

1 RispondiFor the Striker side of things I suggest Helm of Inmost Light, it grants you the [i]Death from Above[/i] and [i]Headstrong[/i] skills, allowing more flexibility in your Striker Build. Defender side, you have Helm of Saint-14, which grants you the ability to blind anyone who dares enter your Disco-Bubble! If your looking for a Class Neutral armor, Ruin Wings, The Armamentarium, and Crest of Alpha Lupi are great and lend well towards support roles.
