GRIMOIRE - WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THIS??
The best thing about the patch?
They fixed grimoire!
Mine has jumped from 2585 to 2670. Anyone else had the same thing?
Now just need to kill a -blam!- load of ogres and hydras.....
Edit- cheers for all the responses. I know grimoire is just an arbitrary figure but I think it indicates a players 'game experience' (not skill) and with content running a bit thin now it's a welcome distraction. Nice to see Both sides of the coin though.
Edit2 - looks like the key to getting a load of responses is put the title in capitals and ask a ridiculous question. Cheers for making this thread interesting guys!

For the other 95 percent. We could care less. I started playing a week after launch in September. Sorry this post sounds negative. I just think grimoire score is one of the silliest parts of this game. If there was a reward for hitting different tiers of grimoire score that would actually add value to the score. As of right now Grimoire = epeen and boredom flex or the perfectionist inside you :)

Jumped 90 points, from 2805 to 2895. 30 more points missing due to Salvage(15), rumble(5) and Patrol VIP kills(10). Can also steal outsider Ghosts.

If your score is 2670 you have to do a lot more than just kill more hydra and oger

Gained 90 from 2665 to 2755. I'm just glad Bungie is fixing a lot of the issues. I know not all of them have been touched, but this patch overall is a great step in the right direction.

I'm in a similar boat as you I went from about 2610 to 2695 or so. After going through some of the stuff though it's still clear that haven't fixed areas of the grimoire that I had been working on. 1st, my raid counter still is not tracking right, it only counts VOG completions and not Crota as they mentioned. Also, the Strike counter does not include ROC strikes.... still. Any other known glitches still exist out there with these?

I gained 90. It took a while for the DestinyTracker to catch up and they still show 5 more points than I show in game.
