no one has even acknowledged the heavy ammo bug being fixed. they are too busy bitching about all the little things they don't like about the patch.
can we all just take a moment to say thanks for finally fixing something we have been bitching about for months?
Update:
thanks everyone for commenting. it seems as though its not entirely fixed. i know i wiped a few times fighting crota and din't loose heavy. that was awesome. the tension is much lower now on hard mode and a little pressure is off the sword holder because of this.
however going to orbit or cut scenes still cause ammo loss.
i'm sorry i don't have the time to respond to everyone. i will do what i can.
for all that are still bitching about it taking this long, look at Battlefield 4. its been out for over a year and still almost unplayable for most. also this bug was buried deep in the code and not just an easy tweak some numbers for a nerf/buff type of patch. so let it go about how long it took to fix. the game has been out for 6 months. they have fixed several things but still have many things to fix.
i feel this is just a small victory for us nothing more.

3 Rispostenow if they could actually pay up on the promise of crotas raid having some kind of system that detects what gear you already have obtained. just more BS
-
The heavy ammo bug fix is no where near as huge as the vault transfer from the companion app. This single addition has made the game so much more enjoyable.
-
2 RisposteYou said yourself. It should have been fixed MONTHS ago. You don't cheese destiny, destiny cheeses YOU.
-
3 RisposteSweet it's fixed. But now you lose heavy ammo to 0 when you swap heavy weapons instead of being left with a reduced amount as before. Ah well. Something for something I guess.
-
I did say thanks.... #doyouevenmannersbro?
-
Agreed :)
-
The heavy ammo bug fix was most likely kept on the shelf until the not so popular fixes were ready to put out. They're just honeydicking us.
-
Took bungie 6 months to fix the bug-_-
-
3 RisposteWhy should anybody be grateful we paid for a working product. I'm still getting the reload glitch I had in the beta
-
1 RispondiPeople are missing the fact that every gun slot loses ammo when going to orbit...am I wrong?
-
2 RisposteYou're wasting your time if you think you can seriously expect people to be rational and stop bitching
-
2 RisposteYes we should be so happy that 1) Destiny shipped with such a bug in the first place. 2) It took them months to fix I'm not saying that I'm not glad they fixed it, but my appreciation isn't exactly overflowing about it, nor should it to be honest.
-
1 RispondiThe are quick to fix the pushes and the glitches that benefit us but won't fix the -blam!-ing sword disappearing or crota getting up faster than he should or my favorite. When blink strike desides to take a break while I'm in front of this -blam!-. Oh but heavy ammo bug? Let's take 4 months to fix.

7 RisposteModificato da Kweh: 2/26/2015 4:06:50 PMEA apologizes for battlefield 4. Even held back dlc and gave people double xp weekends as a way to make it right . It might still suck but they are very avid about accepting their mistakes. I yet to see that from Bungie. Bad example. They only tell us it exists but lack the integrity to make it right, what is your guess to how long it will take to put the vex back to its original state?
-
I was surprised that i didnt lose heavy ammo but then i remembered that they patched it
-
42 RisposteWhy would I say thanks? It should have been fixed months ago, as you mentioned. Add to that the countless bugs still in existence going back to VOG, some if which were introduced by bungie trying to fix pushes. Then on top of that, they tell us how hard it was to fix the heavy bug, as if it shouldn't be expected by us that they should fix it in a timely manner in the first place. I guess that means there should be no expectation of raids getting fixed because it's hard to code. Tell them thanks? Never. They should be thanking the players for giving them money for this hack job of a game.

2 RisposteI have really noticed the accuracy drop on the hand cannons, Ive played some crucible with my Thorn and its now a bit harder to hit your target.
-
The pulse rifle buff freaking amazing
-
Modificato da ixJake: 2/26/2015 3:23:05 PMI shouldn't have to thank a company for fixing a bug within their game. Adding new features I will give thanks, but not squashing bugs.
-
4 RisposteI'm appreciative about this patch, glad it addressed alot of issues. ***NOTE YOU STILL LOSE AMMO IN ALL TIERS WHEN YOU GO TO ORBIT AND IS NOT PART OF THE HEAVY ANMO GLITCH DURING ACTIVE MISSIONS So to all the whiners bitching and complaing about ammo they are NOT using in orbit, STFU, seriously I'm doing you a favor, people stating that they are losing ammo going to orbit are fùcking stupid and look like complete ignorant retards, congrats you crybabies are idiots. Great thread, keep up the awareness for these thankless jobs.
-
the only thing i cared about was losing jellyhorn ammo on a death that was it by the time i get out of orbit i can pop another syn :P
-
2 RisposteIts not fixed, i did it last night
-
I used a purple ammo with full consumables last night and it only gave me 4 rockets instead of six. That was the only time I tried it and might see if it happens again.
-
Thank them? No. Thank them for buffing my favorite gun (red death)? Hell yeah!!!
-
I thank bungie. And I know it was hard going deep into the code to fix it but.. You kinda screwed up the color of my fav titan mark. Lol I mean, it's cool I guess but it just doesn't go.
