After 30 crota raids completions and plenty of attempts i have found that there are a few universal truths to raid teams.
#1 warlocks are the class most likely to be killed in the final part of the raid. They may be good at cheesing other parts of the raid but serious raid teams should avoid bringing warlocks along.
#2 players below 32 are 82% more likely to be killed during the easiest parts of raid. Level 31s even with skill are also alot more of a liablity than inexperienced level 32s as the damage they recieve and lack of damage they dish out makes them a burden to the rest of the team
#3 level 31 or below warlocks should raise a red flag for serious teams. They are a cancer on the serious raid team and should be replaced.
#4 the more players on your team that have a gjallahorn the more likely you are to progress successfully through the raid. When creating a raid team players with the gjallahorn should always be prioritized to those without.
#5 although the above points may seem to be controversial they are the result of weeks and months of raiding with various lfg teams.
EDIT: #6 based on replies throughout this thread, most forum trolls are warlocks. I hope bungie gives warlock are more useful role in the upcoming raid so that they can spend less time trolling and more time gaming
NOTE: I have a 32 warlock and i like the class im not hating on warlocks im just stating that they dont bring anything noticable to a raid. Striker gunslinger and blade dancer can all make orbs just as well as any warlock. Hunters are useful for invisibility/sword running and titans ward or dawn is useful for defence. Self res isnt all that useful since you have just created oversoul and voidwalker cant exactly help by nova bombing crota

Sounds dumb dude actually play with people that are good not shitty lol
-
2 Risposte#1 is just stupid. Every class has the same defense at 32. I'm a 32 warlock, and I run the sword on hard. I never die.
-
Warlock- "Taco?" Hunter- "Taco." Titan- "TACO!"

Agree....I am by no means a elitist but my hard mode runs just run smoother the more ghorn's we have. The lvl 31 thing has nothing to do with talent or being able to take care of yourself. It's about math and the facts of said math. Even at lvl 32 a boomer can almost 1 shot you and that can be the difference between winning and wiping.

Lol Galla isn't needed at all we can do it using only primaries and also truth is a good one to use any rocket maxed out is good enough
-
5 Risposte#5 although the above points may seem to be controversial they are the result of weeks and months of getting carried with various lfg teams Next time, try not to spout your opinions as fact scrub.(:
-
2 RisposteFirst time i beat crota on hard was with 5 heads and 2 of them were 31s, you're just bad
-
41 RisposteI think your warlock logic is off a tad. I did my 6 hardmodes day 1 ( deleted 3 toons ) and I have no trouble. Hoc is just as doable as a ghorn for crota. All you need is a rocket with tracking. All of your points only point to crutches. You only want a gally cause its " the best " its not needed ,, you only want 32's is not needed. I have been in some really great teams and some shitty ones. Tbh hardmode crota is like 97 percent swordberrer anyways.
-
3 RisposteIs this just one big piece of bait?
-
4 Risposteso.. you don't like warlocks? lol
-
1 RispondiJokes on you scrub, me and my team of 31's whooped Crota's ass first run. Your argument is invalid.

Modificato da tmtcrazyhorse: 2/25/2015 5:32:22 AMI think lumping an entire class into a "burden"is ludicrous. I'm a 32 Warlock and am usually the last person to die. I've even ran sword. Now to be fair, I used to die a lot. I Got too used to self res. But I haven't ran my sunsinger for some time now and have increased my survivability greatly. Edit: spelling

Modificato da nevergotgud: 2/25/2015 5:31:48 AMBeat crota on Monday evening with 3 32 and 3 31 players. 1 ghorn between us with the rest hoc beat him 3rd go with the smallest bit of advice given to 1 player about not leaving the room til everybody was ready, 3 warlocks 1 titan 2 hunters all randoms this was after trying for an hour with a bunch of 32 players who kicked any 31 who tried to join. They had a warlock who never got off the bridge without dying yet insisted it was always a glitch and never his own fault when crota/boomers/thrall killed him. A good swordbearer with good communication is the key to the fight Edit: this was hard mode crota as well

1 RispondiPretty sure level 31s should just stay entirely out of any and all raids/Iron Banner matches until they rank up.
Oh, wait...
-
Why you hating on the warlocks? Warlocks are fine in anything they do.
-
2 RisposteIt's easy without any of these tips! I did it as a 31 today and 1 person had ghorn. 3rd try.. I hate posts like this.
-
Beat Crota on hard, first try, with 2 31's and 1 30. The rest were 32's. 4 were warlocks.
-
2 RisposteLol at number four. Gr8 b8 n8 way to cr8 sum str8 h8
-
Beat hard mode the other night on our first try with 3 31s (2 of which were Warlocks and 1 of which we couldn't hear). Level does not indicate skill or experience. Statistically, bad players perform badly and vice versa. Statistically, Warlocks are not a liability or most likely to die.
-
2 RisposteAll I heard was someone crying about warlocks I actually dont use self rez anymore in the raid Iuse my super to heal myself and help my team. Im by no means a raid master but I can tell you 30 raids isnt a lot 10 weeks 3 raids every week you can pop out a raid in at least 30 minutes
-
Oh I thought you were like me and always cursed with universal remotes and truths...Well shit, I guess i am the only cursed exotic earner D:

These findings are consistent with my own. Good stuff.
