Gjallarhorn Symbolism?
Just my take on this weapon given what I've observed.
Gjallarhorn as we know it is the strongest weapon in the game. It's a rocket launcher that tracks with a large explosion followed by Wolfpack rounds that try to finish off whatever the explosion didn't. The Weapon itself was created after the battle for Twilight Gap, one of the largest battles in defense of the City. This is perhaps why the weapon is the strongest in the game as it is a bit of a sacred item within the Lore.
It was created using armor from Guardians who died during the battle.
Wolfpack rounds represent the "Strength of the Wolf" which is displayed in the crucible medal when your team takes out ten guardians without losing anyone from your team so it shows teamwork to overcome the odds. The weapon is a symbol of humanities strength to not only fight back against the darkness but to overcome it. It is the weapon that can cripple Crota and it can outright destroy Atheon. Who knows what its role will be in the house of wolves but so far the Strength of the Wolf overcomes all.
So while a single Guardian with the Gjallarhorn seems like a one man army in reality he's not. With the strength of the wolf that single guardian with the help of all those who fought at the battle of Twilight Gap destroy the enemies of the darkness.

Dire wolves are level 5 skirmishers... a boss level 5 skirmisher is a young green dragon. Young green dragons use poison damage... Turian Cabals use poison damage... Turians resemble raptors. Kig-yar resemble raptors. Kig-yar are also related to skirmishers, like the wolf. Who else is like a wolf? Warwick. Who else uses poison? Teemo. Warwick is a fighter-tank, while teemo is a marksman-assassin. That makes Warwick a Titan and Teemo a Hunter. Both the titan and the hunter ahve exotic chests called the 'Crest of Alpha Lupi". Alpha lupi means first wolf. the first wolf in the bible was referenced as such “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. ": Matthew 7:15. Who is a prophet? The Speaker. The Speaker also sells clothes. Bill Nighy played the speaker. Bill Nighy's first cinema role was in 1981. 1+9+8+1 = 19, 1+9 =10, 1+0=1. One has 2 vowels and a consonant. 2x (the vowels in 'consanant') = 6. There are currently 6 subclasses in destiny. Only four of those 6 subclasses have Crest of Alpha lupi, but the warlock has Light Beyond Nemesis, which is a helmet. Helmets go on your head. What else goes on your head? A mask. Who wears a amsk? The wolf in Little-Red-Riding hood. Warlocks helmets are reffered to as hoods. Hunters wear hoods and cloaks. Titans wear neither. Therefore, Titans have colder heads. What else is cold? Frost. Frostwolves... Frostwolf Orcs, a World of Warcraft horde faction. Horde... whored... Saints Row the Third Whored mode. Bungie whored themselves out to activision for the profit. Profit? Prophet. False prophet = ravenous wolves. Bungie has dealt with Prophets before. There were 3 Propehts in the opening scene of Halo 2, but one of them was a hologram. Once again, 2/3 are similar, one is the odd one out. 2/3... 2... 3... 4? Halo 4 wasn't amde by bungie. Instead they amde Destiny. Destiny has 4 consanants, ecluding the letter 'y' which counts as a vowel half of the time. Half... Half... half the game was cut out by developers. Developers have 3 letter 'e's. 3 e is only 6 away from k. but 2x3 equals 6 see? 3k is a lot of hours to play a video game. People who play that long, ahve no lives. Lives... life... Half the content, players ahve no lives, 3 'e's.. HALF LIFE THREE CONFIRMED!

Gjallarhorn is the horn Heimdall uses to rouse the Gods and Einherjar to battle in Ragnarok. Heimdall was born of 9 mothers... Crazy kid. So Gjallarhorn is the sound of coming war and death. It's a beautiful weapon and while it's not retardedly op (I've seen my Wolfpack lazily scurried along the floor), it's fun to use.

2 RisposteGjallarhorn saved my life yesterday on mars when a defend the warsat public event appeared. I ran to it from doing my six beacon patrol missions and shortly after i noticed that I was the only guardian. I thanked my lucky stars that I had seven rockets ready towards the end of it. Yellow healthed Hydras, Minotaurs, and rocket shooting cabal were everywhere around my hunter. I jumpshot my gjally in every direction and survived the chaos. No other launcher would've been able to see me through to the end. Afterwards I gave it a little kiss, and after placing it on my back, I took off on my legendary sparrow in search of the next challenge that awaits me.

4 RispostePraise RNGSUS! Finally got a gjally from normal Crota today! Been playing since about a week after launch. Only recently started joining groups to take down Crota. Was a total solo artist up to that point (up to Crota himself)... There is no I in team folks... But apparently there's a gjallarhorn. Sorry, just so excited, didn't want to start one of "those" just got a gjally threads... So here I am. Cheers!
