If Xur sold Gally then alot of Gally owners would be mad....but why? You only got it because of RNG not skill
I see week after week posts about XUR SELLING GALLY THIS WEEK CONFIRMED...and in it every time i see some people who have Gally are like I WILL QUIT IF HE DOES.
Why though?
Only reason you have Gally is because RNG was gracious to you at one point and time....RNG has nothing to do with skill, it has nothing to do with time played, it has nothing to do with anything except RN.
Please if you are a complainer give me a good reason that it is bad to give everyone a Gally. And I already know the main response will be: IT WILL MAKE THE GAME TOO EASY. My response to that is THEN BREAK YOURS DOWN TO MAKE IT FAIR AGAIN, YOU ALREADY HAD A CHANCE GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A CHANCE WITH IT SINCE YOU WERE ONLY BLESSED RANDOMLY AND NOT REWARDED FOR SKILL

Yep, thats why the only one who got it from my fire team is the one who died at the beginning of crota fight. His skills looking at us take him down was stunning.

I disagree, yes its completely random, and some people can play the game for a few weeks and get it, but for those of us who weren't that lucky, have have 15 days game play to only just get it, I'd say that it definitely working your ass off hoping to get it!

Buying from Xûr is earning just as much as being rewarded. If you want to tell me that the weekly strike is difficult or time consuming, then you are either ignorant or really bad.

No. I would be happy. I would be able to keep my heavy synthesis and not have to pull people through raids and night falls who don't have it. I don't mind doing it for friends, but man it would be nice if they all had it.

Wouldn't care, had it since the game came out its good but the players make the gun, thorn and last word in pvp are way more crutch guns

When Crota starts, and they ask who has jealoushorn, I say no. Then I use it once or twice to see if anyone notices. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. And what skill is involved with buying an item from a store? Are you really really good at saving your strange coins in the vault? Wow, so much skill to do that...

I just hit level 32. Never beat Crota's End. Don't plan on beating it. Gjallarhorn is the only reason I even consider putting destiny in my disc tray. Even then, I rarely ever play. Honestly, it's just a weapon. A weapon that, in time, will be obsolete. To those who have it, very well. To those who don't, it's just a video game. You'll eventually get it, and if not by rng then xur will eventually sell it. Especially around the time house of wolves drops to bring people back to destiny because the game has lost it's intrigue. I expect trials of Osiris to be released in the months leading up to HoW. Destiny needs something to bring players back. Gjallarhorn and the Trials will definitely do that.

It would absolutely not be beneficial to the destiny community if xur brought gjallarhorn to the tower. First off, if over 90% of players owned the gjallarhorn, raid bosses would go down like crazy. I mean if everybody used it and took down bosses with ease, then they would have no choice to ruin it. So if everybody had it, the best gun in the game would be ruined. If they have to nerf the gjallarhorns that RNG gave us, then there is no point in playing anymore. Also, everybody says that the gjallarhorn will be useless in the next raid. I doubt that they will make exotics useless in future raids. The only thing that will be outdated are raid weapons which will only be useful in the raids that they are found in. So in conclusion, I wish that everyone that wants one could find one, but I want bungie to preserve the game and community that they worked so hard to achieve.

Once you get it you will understand. I finally got mine on this week's nightfall (been playing since day one). I never wanted xur to sell it even before i got it because i knew how great it would feel when i finally did. Not as exciting to just buy it imo.
