This game is like 90% PVE with refreshed rewards and rotating content every day and much more every week. A repeating PVP event comes once a month and people cry. Makes no sense.

Because that's the only event that occurs and it's not even that interesting. Some people are on the edge of quitting/taking a break from destiny but are hoping for an event or something to keep them playing but when it's always iron banner what's the fun in that?

What's wrong with wanting some fresh new content? Been long enough. I'll agree that the PvP offering is generally weak on variety compared to the PvE, but the same strikes and raids do get stale. I bought the game almost exclusively for the PvE, so ... there's that. I imagine most of the "hardcore" PVP guys are playing something else.
