Just for fun

Its not uncommon for you to feel that way. Gaming has evolved past the point of simple entertainment, it has opened up new possibilities and ideas. When you play a game now your opening up a new world without full of wonder and excitement, and without the rules and burdens that weigh down your normal life. You become the character, you feel like you share their story, their happyness, personality, and their pain, you can create an emotional bond that nothing but rage can break. When you play a game you accomplish things you would never have even dreamed about but with each new challange you overcome you feel yourself gaining power and courage with each one. Its enpowering, even in real life sometimes, reflexes are improved as well your problem solving skills. There's more to games then just killing, when you slow down and think about it i promice you will enjoy every second a hell of a lot more. -sklez

I agree gaming in general can be therapeutic for me it's just something to look forward to if the day hasn't gone in your favor

About the same. I work on an ambulance. Games immediately take my mind off of work. I also enjoy feeling accomplished. Games like destiny allow me to do that from my chair at home. :)
-
Because I'm a loser and I have nothing better to do than sit in front of my tv for 4-6 hours a day......no seriously. ;-)
-
An escape from reality. Keeps My mind off of shit. I roll a few fat ones, hit my Cuzzo up and we blaze and scour the cosmos

Cause fun?

I enjoy it

1 Rispondisame...my family doesn't quite understand how yelling at the tv during crota glitches or crucible is how I relieve stress.

For Fun and Destiny has ceased to be Fun. So until HoW comes out, I won't be playing. I may go on to get something from Xur every week, but other than that there's no real reason for me to keep playing. Destiny also ceased to be therapeutic for me, it just makes me more frustrated every time I play.

Because CoD

To me I love the stories and watching how it all will turn out except I'm playing through it myself rather then reading it and sometimes I get to decide what happens next or decide the fate of certain characters mass effect dragon age etc etc they are also a way for me to vent frustration if I'm angry I throw on a game and I vent stress. I am a gamer and quite frankly I am proud to be one without gaming my life would be stressful and boring plus one day when I have kids I will have plenty of stories to tell them

Same. Also it brings back fond memories
-
-
I do it because it's fun and I agree it can be therapeutic as well.

I play for entertainment. Video games are just another thing to do for fun like watching tv or movies, reading, or anything else you could do for fun.
-
I only play like three to four times a week, but its nice to have a calm activity to do at the end of the day.
-
It's the only time I can shoot a mofo in the face and not worry about the repercussions of my actions!!! BOOOOOOOM HEAD SHOT!!!
-
The immersion from it. Smoking weed might be promoting me playing more lol
-
Every single person has a drug to escape reality... No exceptions. Video games are my drug.
