2 RisposteBetter than watching TV.
-
1 RispondiIt's a cheap, fun way to relieve stress and have a good time during the week after work. Weekends are reserved for wifey and kiddos unless we decide to have a "lazy" weekend and lounge around the house LOL.
-
Most people watch TV, I prefer being in complete control of what happens on mine.
-
Keeps me from going out and spending money. :(
-
Because I like the exhilarating feeling of winning
-
Because I don't want to clean my house.
-
Same. But it's also a social thing too. Like grabbing a virtual beer or coffee with some good folks.
-
They are fun to explore and see what the developers made. I think that they are definitely a work of art. Also, I enjoy hanging out with friends and even the cool random people that I get to talk to.

nothing better to do

Modificato da conceptember: 2/12/2015 1:23:09 AMTo cope Lots of bullshit happens in life (for everyone not just me) and playing video games/listening to music helps deal with a shitty day. Especially today
-
Explore new world's Also is a social thing for me as I cannot play without some buddies online to conversate with.
-
A oddly perverse mixture of challenge and fun. Have only recently been more "social" ingame, and now have friends that are a strong motivation to game as well.
-
To unwind from uni research. ... which also translates as procrastination.
-
To escape To express myself To entertain myself To give my brain a work out I don't live near my friends (different states), so I at least get to hear their voices and spend time with them. To have fun To explore a new world
-
My job is also stressful. Shooting people IRL results in waaay too much paperwork.
-
Cause there awesome
-
It's better than tv.
-
it Helps stop my ADHD plus I like to see the different worlds and scenarios decs come up with it's like an interactive film/book I get to take on a role and get to learn about the history/lore etc for the particular game.

Modificato da Sir Maximoose: 2/11/2015 11:37:35 PMI've been playing video games for 13 years, which may not seem like a long time to a lot of people on here, but that's most of my life. I don't even know why I play anymore, I just do XD But I guess probably for fun more than anything, and kind of a means of distraction.
-
Cause I grew up anti social, I really don't care for people too much so instead of playing outside I played RPGs and what not. I still don't like people lol but sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do meaning raids.

To get away from this shitty world..
