Why do you play video games?
I have a stressful job and I find playing games therapeutic... What about you?

It helps me to have a little security for myself. Also, because when my grandma passed away, it was a sort of "happy place" for me.

Games are really good Escapism of reality...plus it makes me forget my problems when new ones appear on Destiny with Hawk and Caterpillar errors >:(

Because I enjoy it and it is my time, so family, telephone and visitors can not interrupt - ever!

They're fun and I like the act of progression and completing things in real life anyways, so games do just that. I have nothing to do at my house in my free time and it's the funnest option and sometimes when I don't feel like going out I just feel like playing some games.

I play because painting Is stressful, when I can't paint I'm an arse. It affects my whole family so I don't paint anymore, I play video games an write. I'm much, much happier, my family too. Plus I'm pretty good at them!

I play video games for the exact opposite reason you do. At least that's how I feel about it. It feels like I play to get stressed. Dealing with people that are 32 with "experience" on the lfg that have no clue what they're doing, finally getting an exotic drop just to see that it's either something I already have or no land beyond, getting ascendant materials from the nightfall, the list goes on and on.
