As stated in the title, Invis is a big issue, especially with radiant dance machines. Before you freak out hear me out. The problem isn't the invis itself but the ease of use in pvp alongside the lack of radar or sound queues. We all know how frustrating it is to be flanked mid gunfight or post gunfight by an invis that we have no way of knowing is there. Its ease of use is the problem in PVP, it needs to have some sort of drawback other than radar nerf. I think it should get bakris treatment in PvP ONLY and have a cooldown if it runs out. I think if you re-proc it while already invis that would be fine, like proccing pursuit predation right out of invis. but if your invis runs out after about 3 seconds it should go on cooldown for like 15-20 seconds similar to lucky pants or mask of bakris. In addition, you could allow Graviton forfeit to bypass this in pvp which would give it a much higher utility in pvp. Just my thoughts

8 RepliesFYI there are sound cues - going invis makes a sound and double jumping also makes a sound. Radar also still shows invis players but on a ping system

Edited by Zodleon: 4/17/2025 11:58:45 AMRDMs are a problem. Possibly on the prowl, too. But this
We all know how frustrating it is to be flanked mid gunfight or post gunfight by an invis that we have no way of knowing is there
Is mostly a skill issue. They make a noise when going invisible, they still make noise when jumping and sliding, and they only get 8-15 seconds of invisibility, that sounds like a lot, but it limits the lanes they can use to predictable paths. They don't have radar. And they ping radar as if they were crouching. The tools are there. Most ppl are just bad at using them.

6 RepliesI'd say it's no more an issue than titan void overshields, or warlock arc souls. At least invisibility doesn't effect TTKs like those other abilities. The only difference is hunters are more popular so you see it more often. What people should be worried about is acrobatics dodge + radiant dance machines. Depending on the weapon archetype, that can effect TTK.

2 RepliesEdited by Kirka: 4/15/2025 8:59:59 PMThe problem is that you waste your limited time on this earth as a human being playing a videogame and wasting your brain capacity on the intricaties of said videogame.

2 RepliesI'm so tired of this complaint. Invis is fine.

1 ReplyHow about a sound when they enter and exit invis, smoke bomb noise. Or reduced movement speed when invisible so it at least has to be thought of tactically. Just ideas.

Cant really blame hunters, if they want to use spectral blades they have to use void which has nothing but invisibility, maybe if they added more to it instead of keeping it just “haha press button or kill debuffed enemy to go invisible” look I don’t like using void for this specific reason… prismatic got the best one with debuffs allowing you to go invisible but honestly… there are so many problems with void hunter it’s insane, cause to me it’s boring as hell Warlocks and titans have so many ways to do different things and building out what you used to be, which was throw bomb or place bubble Hunters just got “haha… you got your d1 super kit” invisibility

7 Repliesinvis and dodge uptime is broken every other class wishes they had a dodge and radar drop on almost zero cooldown

Used to id see one in a lobby and not every game even, now if you aren’t running RDMs with invis you’re literally throwing. After 10yrs this might be what results in uninstall. It’s boring to play against this crap every match.

Hunter is just easy to play. I like titan, but i use hunter to win. 80%of pvp player use hunter.

The only problem with invis is uptime, which became a problem with OTP and RDM's. Invis itself hasn't been buffed in ages and doesn't need to be touched at all, but OTP and RDM could use nerfs so uptime isn't what it is now.

I usually only use invis in comp and trials and take it off if im just chilling in quickplay but based on the replies to this post yall are cool with it 🤣 say less

2 RepliesI don’t understand this recent uptick in anti-invisible hunter haters. It’s been around forever. I’m colorblind and can barely see them 60-70 % of the time. If anyone should be posting a complaint it’s those of us that are colorblind. Not the community in general. And yet we don’t? We realize that’s a “me” problem and deal with it. So should all the complainers recently.

2 RepliesEdited by Chunk: 4/15/2025 4:21:35 PMWas invise an issue last season before RDM was changed? No it wasn't So it's a RDM problem, possibly a hip fire accuracy problem. So change RDM in pvp to require 2 kills to get a dodge charge, skill level to use it goes up people stop using it if that doesn't fix it they're hip-fire on mnk. P.s. anti-barrier weapons should shoot through Titan barricades And it doesn't really matter if they nerf invise out of pvp ,it'll just go to being running solar Hunter with three Dodges for radiant

the lack of radar or sound queues
There's already a loud sound effect tied to going invis. Or are we saying there needs to be something like a police siren strapped to players for the duration of invis?
