Lol I got mine about 8 hours in, 2nd time xur was around he was selling them, thought it looked cool, and got vex on my first run of hard vog but yeah took took forever to get my first legendary drop

If you're new to the game and expected something completely different than what it is (a grind), you did not do any research into your purchase. The game has been out since September 9 of last year. Too many of you babies are used to games where you're rewarded the same crap for doing missions. Destiny is the total opposite, it's more like playing the lottery. Sometimes you get lucky, most of the time you don't. Before last week I went 163 hours without a single exotic drop at all. It's frustrating, makes you question if it's worth it, but it's part of the game. If you need instant rewards for your time, Destiny is probably the last game you should be playing.

I've played for over 600 and I just got it. Play it for the experience, and do the best with what you have. This game is a present distraction from real life problems, and a good social experience. I still need Universal Remote and Thunderlord. Last two exotics I need. Not to mention having Universal Remote would help me complete the 5000 shotgun kills grimiore card faster. : ) Have a great day!
