Why would anyone not want raid matchmaking its not like if they implement it you won't be able to play with your friends or clan anymore. It would only be for the people who don't have a clan or 5 friends that all have your console and all play at the same time.

I'm on the 'let's try it' side of the raid matchmaking idea. Those of us who don't have a ton of friends, or a large clan, can't hope to get the full experience of Destiny. And no, we're not idiots for WANTING TO PLAY THE FULL FRACKING GAME!! Of y'all think it would suck, remember that you'd still be able to play the SAME DAM WAY you play now. The only ones who would have to deal with non Mic players are the people like me who can't currently play the raids because we have no group to play. I don't want to have to add 50 random people or join some other clan just to be able to play. I'm a solo player, and the clan I have is just people I know in real life. So, call me an idiot if you want, but I still think matchmaking is a good idea.

Sorry annoyed I can never find enough ppl to raid with just utter bs! -- mokotoko
Anyone who believes matchmaking for raid in Destiny is an idiot. Anyone at all. Like if there were any person who had or will post a reply to not have matchmaking, that person is automatically pronounced as a "dunce gamer." Just ignore him if he comments again regarding Destiny 1. EDIT: "Anyone who believes matchmaking for raid is [pointless] in Destiny [(due to #Recruitment)] is an idiot." --Fixed. Now the rest of the paragraph makes sense. So again, I am for matchmaking. Disregard the original first sentence.

I.E. It is practically a 'must' that all members are using mics. Granted, u can still get away with a few not using them sometimes, but if this was random matchmaking, there would always be a chance that every single person would not be using a mic; = disaster Also, even if a 27 is able to join a hard raid, is it truly viable?; especially if everyone is a 27? Hell no! I could go on and on. Those are just 2 examples off the top. . . All in all, we'd likely end up with a scenario similar to how people use the strike lists: if they don't like the particular strike or team-members, they'll just leave for orbit immediately, consistently leaving half-ass teams everywhere and f ucking up the intended system they all bitched for from the beginning

For the hundredth freaking time idiots, use lfg and don't suck and people will play with you again.
