11 RepliesHere I am, married for 20 years at 45 with 5 kids and my own business yet reading this makes me feel like a kid again. I very much look forward to your efforts. My question... how long and how many drafts does it typically take you to have a weekly update ready for the public. I only remember to check in here every so often, but when I do, they seem like a good read. Keep it up. BTW- it makes no practical sense but I dropped by Gamestop and paid off Destiny in full. It is funny how it seemed to make the game closer somehow. Maybe I will take two whole day off at launch. :)

Hey Bungie. Do you know in competitive online multiplayer how you will be able to tell players as being a friend or foe? will it be color based, or like Call of Duty where you must put sights on the enemy to tell?

I always wanted to know, will we be able to step down from our Valhalla that is the Tower and race across the last city's streets and highways in our shrikes, maybe to get to shops or so, or are we restricted to the top of our mighty Tower of heroes? And if not, I can patiently wait for the city in an update or sequel. But I think that would be far from my mind if I where to travel the landscape of Venus and such, but it would be an awesome detail.

2 Repliesfor those of you asking this question, I very much highly doubt a split-screen option. If you didn't notice the game is open world and has a lot to load up when you play let alone single player, doing this split screen would make the console do twice the work which would decrease game quality and speed heavily and probably not possible. I don't know where people are getting the idea, but I have never seen an open world first-person game allow split-screen and I doubt Destiny will be one.

I know it shows a Hunter sort of "flashing" in but I didn't know if there was a different scene for that.

22 Replieswould love to know if bungie still care about the fans that have helped make them what they are today us the xbox players it was bungie that got me into gaming with halo 1 2 3 and so on but i feel like we have been left out of this knew party destiny like with the beta going to ps4 befor xbox i do have a ps4 and xb1 but when i think of bungie i think of xbox makes me sad but i hope destiny will be as big as halo was and wish bungie the best oh and would love a beta key for ps4 thanks

13 RepliesI find myself reading these updates every week , and loving every moment of it. However I also see comments every time that seem to miss the point of these weekly updates. They are not to reveal secrets about Destiny but to have a look behind the veil of Bungie into the inner workings of the machine. I don't know of any real gamer who would want more information than has already been given. A game is about discovery 90% of that discovery is what you can do, and what enemy's you face. I have played allot of games my shelf houses the greatest games of the last three console generations and I am not here to find out anything about a game I know will be awesome, but to experience Bungie in all its clandestine glory. So sit back and enjoy the ride, for when Bungie finally hands you the stick the question is not will it be fun but if you can handle having the helm.

Deer DeeJ, I was curious about raiding content. Will raiding content be similar to games like WoW, where you kill some trash and then some bosses for good, tier-based loot? And will the bosses require extreme teamwork and fight knowledge like WoW does? And if no, what will the raids be like?

I like to play with other people and friends online just as much as the next guy, but will there be support for local co op play in Destiny? That is one of the things i love most about the Halo series, being able to play with my brother in an awesome adventure and kick some ass!

1 ReplyThis may or may not have been asked before, and I apologize if it has, but will there be different ammo types in Destiny? And if there were would you find some kind of tool that would turn regular bullets into other, better bullets? Or would you just buy them from a vendor in a limited quantity?
