I think crafting should have been just for raids/dungeons and focusing should be for seasonal/episode activities and "basic" rng for world items.

For dungeons and raids to be the only source of crafting would mean less than half the player base would have a reason to interact with crafting. This is because only around 15% of players actually raid. This would essentially make crafting only for "elitist" who theoretically need it less than casual players.

Correct. Due to the limited amount of drops for raids/dungeons per week, it would make a lot more sense to have those be craftable and the stuff you can farm endlessly (everything else) not be. The people who think it should be the opposite make literally zero sense lol.

I think it fits well with higher tier type things most of the time and maybe one or two legendary weapons. Maybe even the ritual weapon or something like that. But basic rng for world drops just keeps the game far more interesting.

No hate, but disagree. There was no way I'd farm a seasonal mission for the perfect drop. Just didn't have the hours in the day. If you combine that with the difficulty changes and how bullet spongey everything has become, you'd have just lost more players. In most activities, the difference between normal wayfarer and a crafted wayfarer would be minimal.

1 ReplyIf seasonal content didn’t rotate out then I would be okay with that but since the sources for seasonal weapons get removed they should be craftable no questions asked because it rewards players that actually played that season.

when they add the tier system they should add crafting to dungeons to, or at least a final boss chest like raids( with ofc a different currency)
