How to Deal with Toxic PVP Culture
1. Git Gud -
We all have room for improvement
2. Accept KDA -
It’s the most effective measurement of skill. Don’t be offended.
3. Bag and Tag -
Serve some Lipton Iced T and use the griddy emote on people you defeat. It’s positive reinforcement.
4. Message Your Opponents -
Send them “GG” after a tough match. Or if you receive hate mail, then respond: “I know I did bad, u still luv me?”
5. Have Fun
You don’t know these people. Why do you care if you ruined their day. Get em next time!

4 RepliesAlways have to whisper how easy it was when you win even if barely and even if you’re bottom of your team. Always aggressively bag and emote someone from the enemy team. Pick at random if you have to but pick someone. Always make sure there is something super annoying about your build. Whether it’s how meta it is or an annoying play style and really lean into it. Always make sure you get that last bag. Even if you have to throw the game to avoid getting killed by that guy you bagged. Always offer a 1v1 and then block them once they waste time backing out and inviting.

If a message pops up, don’t read it, just delete it. 4. You shouldn’t care how a total stranger feels if you don’t have a god tier K/D, it’s a video game, have fun and let them get mad over the only thing important in their lives.

I know right I hate when my teammates actually care about winning in trials like go play something else. Who cares if I die in the first 10 seconds of every round and deal 0 damage every single round im just trying to have fun go play gambit if you want to be competitive.

Tying your ego to the perpetually unbalanced mess that is crucible is a great way to break your monitor and lose your hair. Just have fun with it. If you’re not having fun, stop playing PvP. Under NO circumstances should you be messaging people unless it’s GG or something.
