1. Paved the way, 10/10 2. Never played it but I've played Abe's Oddysee. 3. Never played it but I've heard nothing but good things 4. The OG, deserves a good remaster. Great story 7/10 5. Never played it 6. Never played, heard it's good. 7. Couldn't get into it, I tried but I got a bit bored 3/10 8. Very fun with mods, wish I could play it again for the first time 8/10 9. 10/10 one of my all time favourites 10. Definitely my favourite of the franchise, Irish is my guy 7/10
1. Halo 2 (Used to play all the time with my brother's as a kid. Figuring out how to get out of the maps and exploring was fun and the music, chefs kiss) 2. Banjo Kazooie (OG. One of the first games I ever saw. My parents were jamming this and I had to watch in my baby walker. 2 20 something year Olds getting annoyed with each other had to call on my 7 year old brother to get through the gameshow, click clock wood is goated.) 3. NFS: UG (I loved this game so much that when I was like 9 I went to the shop with my mum, bought a second hand copy of the game, hid the original copy, snapped the 2nds disc and told my brother's just so I'd be the only one who could play. The next day they beat me up when they figured out I lied) 4. Ratchet and Clank 3 (I bought a ps4 to play this game. Found out its not on ps4 and bought a PS3 just to play this again 5. KoToR 2 (I thought the first one was good, they've somehow made the sequel even better and its not even close) 6. SOCOM 2 (I still fire up the old PS2 to play this again. There's just something so good about it, needs a good remaster) 7. Call of Duty MW3 (Best cod of all time, rip soap) 8. Hunter the reckoning (My 2 cousins were very close to my family growing up. I was the youngest of 3 brother's so I had to be the Benchwarmer. My role was purely someone needs to go to the toilet I run around and stay alive. They could never beat the game. One day I jumped on and thought "hm, I wonder what will happen if I break these boards, letting the sunlight into this vampires room" I was proud of my big brain in that moment, did something solo that 4 of my older family members couldn't do as a team) 9. The Warriors (I don't know how many times I've replayed this game or how long I've spent free roaming Coney island but I don't regret any of it. The movie is even better) 10. Donkey Kong Country 2 (This was the first game I ever played where it was strictly MY game. Got a Gameboy for my birthday with DK country 2 and one of those ghetto game chips that your dodgy uncle gives you that somehow has 4million games on it. But I couldn't seem to put DK country down) Honorable mentions The club (just switch my brain off and kill people after school, was awesome) Rainbow six Vegas 1/2 (When I wasn't playing the club I was playing this. Roleplaying in T Hunt was a fun pasttime)

For yours: 1. Good game. 2. Never heard of it(actually might have heard of the franchise). 3. Never played it. 4. Never played it. 5. Never played it. 6. Never played it, would like to. 7. Never played it, would play it but low on my list at the moment. 8. Never played it, will play it if I ever finish Oblivion. 9. Never played it. 10. Never played it, I enjoyed Battlefield 1 Overall good list, from what I can tell you have good tastes not enough Nintendo though. Mine in no order The Legend of Zelda(newest one is genuinely tied for my favorite game of all time) The game whose forum we are on(also tied) Halo franchise. Put my head on a spike: New ones are not bad but make questionable decisions. Fallout/Elder Scrolls/Starfield Playing a lot of Elder Scrolls Online recently. Pokémon: I like all, even the new ones, but HeartGold best overall. White has best story. Mario Great games to play with your dad. Odyssey referencing 64 was incredible. I’ll mention a few decent games I haven’t seen listed here a lot. Outer Wilds
incredible, wish I had dementia 10/10
The Vale: Shadow of the Crown Interesting experience, a first person blind woman game(fpbwg). On a scale of drinks, I’ll rank it malk: not for everyone, but you should try it if it interests you. If you collected the old Xbox games with gold you might own it. Quantum Break: Player character gets time based superpowers. The fake science actually sounds scientific to my square brain. Odd decision is that instead of cutscenes explaining the actions the player character doesn’t see it they use live action television episodes. I’ll rank it a flip flop(without the dumb piece that goes between your toes): I like it but can see why someone else wouldn’t. I could have sworn this game was everywhere when it came out but then it’s like everyone forgot it exists. Since using live action episodes has vastly differing opinions, It does not effect my ranking. Splitgate: Multiplayer only, Halo and Portal combined. It’s fun. Sadly they announced the team is moving to the next project, but lets be honest no one cares: game is still there and still good. On a scale of alphabetically sorted letters: V/Z It can be fast at times, but being able to place portals partially punishes camping: clearing a room is meaningless since someone can just portal behind you.
Chivalry II
Fun game. I am not a fan of games existing exclusively for the multiplayer pvp, but I play this one regularly. Valiant Hearts: The Great War Didn’t play the sequel(Netflix exclusive(Netflix does games?)) but this is a solid game you play as a British man pulled away from his farm forcing his daughter to be alone. Does a pretty good job at showing how the people on WWI’s front lines were humans with their own goals and interests. I’ll rank it as a “give me the sequel” out of 11. Medal of Honor Airborne: FPS military game. Lets you kick enemy grenades. I only played the story. Green out of Blue. Carnivores Dinosaur Hunter. Honestly this is here out of nostalgia and I saw it in the list of games I was reading. You hunt dinosaurs. Injustice 1&2 I like the story, Superman is a better villain than hero. I’m multiplayer guy. Superhot
I played the console version. Not sure how to objectively rate this, but I’m guessing people have heard of it and already have their own opinions.
Edited by Sumpig-2: 6/30/2024 12:57:33 PMYour list: Pretty spread out in genre, 8/10 #1. Bloodborne. +Old Hunters DLC of course. Love the setting, the drip, the weapons and combat system, the bosses, and OH bosses especially. Loved the game enough to 100%, and even though defiled Amygdala fraggin sUCKed, it wasn’t too bad. Close and Honorable Mention. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree Close second to Bloodborne which I will probably always have in top idk. Specifically the DLC which is just …beautiful. I like the little story too, I know it’s nothing grand and sorta fast paced, but for a DLC it’s like a whole nother game. New weapons are also cool. 2. WARFRAME Yeah. It’s getting better in balancing I’d say. Old frames are starting to see reworks (finally. Just waiting for Nyx, Equinox, and Archwing melee.). It’s interesting right now… And the new content is free. That’s why I spend money on it. FasionFrame is my endgame, and my Orbiter ain’t decorating itself.
I’ve long since reached the stage of enlightenment where the whole “3 day crafting time” (just for full frames) no longer irks me. I don’t full time this game, so it gives me time to play another game or grind for another goal. Plus I time it so I have the resources to craft as many things I can at once. (If I need it) Now, grinding for faction standing on the other hand…
-at this point order doesn’t really mean too much. I’m just listing what I remember.- 3. Battlefield 1 Great experience. Not bad campaign for a fella new to big console games. (Looking back, they were aight.) First FPS, first Battlefield, one of the first games I played with my friends, and one of the few longest until 5’s Pacific War update
and then 2042 sapped everything we liked out of the franchise (and Battlefront) and that basically stopped our FPS ventures.
4. Infinity Blade Greatest mobile game ever. I will never forgive Epic Games. Heard about the PC port though… 5. Armored Core VI Haven’t played the others cause I’m too lazy to emulate. 6 was a good experience though, and I do love the freedom of customization, decoration, and its multiple endings and utilization of new NG+ missions to alter the perspective of the storyline. I used a meta without realizing it was meta: songbird-dual shotgun-pile bunker my self discovered love. 6. Baldur’s Gate Great rpg. I can enjoy a good turn-based. Love the wide range of consequences and responses prepared for the multitude of silly things. Some things break though, it isn’t infallible. Hope their next IP is just as successful. 3 more other stuff I liked a lot but too lazy to tier 1. Nier: Automata Beautiful game. Love the music and style of music throughout. Tried doing it in Hard, gave up cause patience and other games taking my attention. I played till I got ending F. Didn’t delete the save cause nah. I don’t care if I didn’t 100% it though, I’m not playing it again cause that was pretty friggn depressing to play through all that. I’m sad now. 2. Battlefront 2 (EA) It was better towards the end of its lifetime. Supremacy was a good game mode, and I loved playing as a clone trooper. Heavily appreciate the Prequel content I never liked the whole card shoz they used, and I don’t like the fact that vehicles were treated like unicorns or minute long carnival rides, quarters and all. Could’ve been better, (especially with melee characters and integration of space and ground) not bad though. Heard there was another game in the making with space, land, and sea combat in one match. Might check it out some day. 3. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Big game, big monsters, bigger weapons (not that much bigger) At first I was put off by lack of secondary, but my friend convinced me to try again and I enjoyed it. Haven’t finished Iceborne cause Shrieking Legiana was a turn off. Maybe later. Rewatched the darn movie last month and my goodness it’s butchered. Watched Legends of the Guild, and goodness the pacing is breakneck. Almost hilarious. I’m excited for Wilds though.
and I hope it’s good cause Capcom’s last big game (Dragon’s Dogpoop 2) was hardly worth.. no, it was NOT worth that bloody $70 price tag. Game wasn’t even finished and it’s main story tried using mechanics that didn’t exist. Stealth. And the fact that you can just buy better stuff from merchants is kinda underwhelming. Monsters and environment gets repetitive after a while and you start to realize the world isn’t that big, just tedious to run through since you run out of stamina every 10 seconds with monster every 5. The one normal village i thought was just a side thing turned out to be the only other important place besides the three race (human elf beastren) home cities and that one endgame place. And that one nameless one but that also has quest importance and nothing interesting. All the others are just filled with bandits or zombies. Pretty sure you could kill every NPC you meet and no one will care. Am I still mad over that $70? Yea. Was it my fault? Yes. I meant to get the free character creator and got the wrong thing. Neat character creation though. Shame I can’t keep using it for more characters...
— I feel like I’m forgetting some things.. Edit: speiling erorrs.

4 RepliesIn alphabetical order: ALAN WAKE 2 (XSS) Really interesting and weird. Lots of memorable moments and beautifully made. BATTLETOADS (NES) Incredibly inventive and pushed the 8-bit machine to its limits. Every level is different. DESTINY (PS4 & XSS) We’re not allowed to talk about it here. GALAGA (Arcade) Fun shoot-em-up that ate all my change. GOLDENEYE (N64 & Wii) Can’t beat the split screen multiplayer on N64, but aiming with the Wii remote felt great. MICRO MACHINES (NES) What can beat finding the racing line while also smashing your opponent off a breakfast table, or into a glob of syrup? RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 (PS4 & XSS) I can wander around doing absolutely nothing in this game and love every moment. So immersive and so beautiful. SENSIBLE SOCCER (Acorn A5000) Steep learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, you can be so fast and creative with passing and shooting. THE SIMPSONS HIT & RUN (Xbox) Many fun hours competing with friends to try and beat each other’s top scores. “Smashy, Smashy!” UNTIL DAWN (PS4) A homage to cheesy horror and your choices affect who lives and who dies. They really nailed the story, locations and atmosphere.

Those are all pretty great too.

These are always tough because I like different games for different reasons, so it’s hard to put an order down. That said 1. Life is Strange while I celebrate the whole catalogue, the original is the clear winner for me. I think about this game daily. 2 and 3. Last of Us This one I can’t separate. Both games are interconnected and the narrative is meant to be experienced seamlessly. So this is a tie between 1 and 2. This is where is gets tricky… 4. Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen 5. Final Fantasy VIII 6. Mass Effect (as a trilogy. I know this is cheating, but that’s my answer. If I had to pick one of them it’d be ME2) 7. Dragon Age Inquisition (one may captured the TTRPG experience, but it didn’t have Varric. So there it goes) 8. Outer Wilds 9. Halo ODST 10. Dark Cloud 2

Dang, this is gonna be hard for me. These are, like a few people here, in no particular order. Portal 2 Minecraft Smash Hit This is where it gets hard for me. Counter-Strike 2 Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 TF2 TF2 Garry’s Mod Half-Life 2 Five Nights at Freddy’s Sister Location Five Nights at Freddy’s (as in the first one) Destiny (1) That’s 12, but I’d say that’s a good list for me.
