No more flawless pool, no more Trials for me.
I used to have a chance at flawless every Sunday at reset. But now, I go against teams of gilded flawless 2 out of 3 matches. Do that’s it for me, no more Trials. I’m not the only one either. This was a bad decision on your part Bungie.

2 RepliesUm, you weren't going Flawless even when the Non-Flawless Pool was active. Just play in the Practice Pool, and stay away from the Challenger Pool

Lol.. translation I can’t go flawless against ppl who go flawless give me ppl who don’t go flawless so i have a change to go flawless. I’ll explain what they did. They knew that flawless pool was a temporary solution to a larger problem that’s replay ability and playerbase. So they tryde to have a protective system aka flawless pool. This just in the hope to attract new players to the mod. What actuele happend the Below avrg player got to go flawless. But no new players where won here. Then replaying the game mode? Ppl who lived in trials quit after Sunday. So now bungie did know both goals failed, so they implemented challanger and starter pool. On top of this random card base mm and 2 mercy’s for the first card. In the hope the avrg player still has a place. But pvp is just at it end. Due to player population and previous promises by bungie and them abandoned these promises. Now what you’re left with the avrg player can’t go flawless and it won’t take long for those ppl to leave and hardcore players will only face eachother what will result into the playlist dying. This ether force bungie to compartiment platforms. Or remove sbmm in all pvp. Or shut pvp down. ( prbly just before the launch of marathon). Hope this helps you. I would leave as soon as you can to find better happiness

5 RepliesLet me preface this by saying I don't play Trials but am an avid PvP player...though I have been getting destroyed since I switched over to PC. Those lobbies are a different level of cracked lol. Anyway...Trials is and always should be the pinnacle of PvP. It wasn't meant to be for the casual players. Sure, we can all dip our feet in it, test our skills, and see where we stack up against other guardians...but the playlist has been neutered for the purpose of inclusivity (which never should have been), and this is the result. Maybe I'm thinking too much into this, but to me...Trials isn't for the faint of heart and rewards should be given to those who put in the constant hours to get to the top. I went solo flawless a while ago when the solo playlist was active, and it actually felt rewarding...like I earned it and it wasn't handed to me. Whatever has happened to Trials now is the same thing that happened to the "Unbroken" title. It doesn't mean anything anymore because everyone and their mom was//is able to get it.

2 RepliesIf your not in trials to play pvp at the most competitive it gets in destiny, then you need to go into it knowing you probably are not going flawless. It is like people think going flawless is the baseline they should expect for playing trials.

I was flabbergasted at his rng luck for team selection. Each game was random players I checked. (He was on my team for his 8th game so he was 8 and 0 to start the weekend, you only need to be 7 and 2 to go flawless).

I'm finding trials to be in a good place lately. I'm a solo player so it may be different. I've only been flawless 3 times an I got 2 weeks in a row not long ago.

We get two mercies for the first weekly flawless now and MM is random, no card based, so if you grind enough and are half decent, it remains very, very doable.

8 RepliesI always support casual players being able to receive good rewards without going flawless. Trials should be a mode that casual players should be able to play and earn meaningful rewards regardless of skill level. However, going flawless should not be easy and should not be a hand out. Flawless pool is horrible for a majority of people. That’s why this season there are more players without a flawless pool than the seasons that had one. If you can’t go flawless that sucks, but that doesn’t mean you deserve to go flawless. Sorry.

I'm gunna save you time. This community is a toxic waste dump of people who think they are good at the game and still play like one day this will be an eSports game and they want that faze clan spot. So don't bother posting stuff like this, or bug fix ideas or better yet just don't post because Bungie don't give a single crap about our feed back. Trials isn't for everyone, in D1 you had to have some skill to go flawless now it's cheesy load outs like immortal, juton, le monarch and the like. You should still play because you can learn some great map knowledge by watching better players movement. I've learned a lot of cheeky sniping spots or routes that are typically open for a rush or what have you. If you want to jump in again feel free to hit me up on here and I'll run some trials with you even if you don't go flawless you can still get something out of it.

Trails is just a game type for streamers anymore. They need something to stream for this dead game
