I hate to make this post but…
I just went flawless for the first time, in the freelance playlist. For a maybe average player, who hasn’t put much time into trials, I have to say, my nerves were spent. Lost mercy at game 5. Had to win the next 2. And I felt like I definitely had to carry especially game 7. Forerunner/Drang/ worked surprisingly well. know, I know, no one really cares that I went flawless. But I made the post anyways.

Freelance has helped me go flawless 3 times now. The first time I did it I had a huge smile for days, and would log in just to look at my glowing armour. Congratulations Guardian!

Probably the best way to get it first time. A rough go with tense moments. Games that can give you those emotions are always special to me

Been playing Destiny since the day it came out. Never been flawless. Lost on my seventh match yesterday. I was taking a break cause I was angry and hopeless but then I saw your post. Congratulations man! I hope you got the best of loot!

3 RepliesNever been flawless, probably never will get it. I am not a PVP person and was only playing Trials as it was bonus ranks and Freelance. I am hitting 51 now and the reflexes are going. But the awareness and ability to use my experience and treachery compensates a bit. But .. I got the win for my team the other day when were at 4-4. Both teams had two good players and a potato. I was my teams potato. Final round went bad with both the good players going down and two of the other team camped over my fallen team mates. Just went for it. Got the last two enemies standing and got the win. I can see why people play Trials now. Bit of a rush that. Also got a nice message from one of my team mates at getting the win.

Congrats! Now that you know you can do it, definitely try going flawless with a team next time. Flawless is nice and all, but being able to share the experience with a fireteam makes it even more special!

2 RepliesAll the entitled elitist potato heads will hate but who cares.. most of them won’t play trials without a team and the concept of freelance gets them angry. I got to 5 and 6 wins last night and finally got to rank 10 with Saint 14 so I could get the fusion rifle. Burden of guilt is actually pretty good and I’ve been running Devils Run with it. Doing pretty well so far. Going to try again tonight.

Maybe the part of you that was saying don’t post this was trying to shed some insight onto the reality of looking for internet back pats… very interesting.
