Favorite video Game companions.
Question can be implied from the title. What is everyone’s favorite video game companions? The amazing party members which we bring on excellent adventures if we are not ignoring them. They can be quite brilliant depending on the game. So, what’s your favorites? And why to, if thou will be so kind.
Personally for me we have to go to possibly my favorite video game series of all times, the Baldurs Gate series. Twas such an amazing series for its time with many other games afterwards inspired from it. If I had to chose a favorite part, quite a hard feat indeed, I would probably have to choose the games companions. Especially with the second game, my favorite of the two. The games have to many to list and they are all excellent, so instead I will just state some of my favorites.
Imoen was always one of my favorites. Just her personality was great. Lightheartedness is always needed. Always fun to have her around. Of course this cannot go without mentioning Boo and his mighty ranger Minsc. The two made an…..interesting team. Now I cannot make this post without speaking of the drow priestess Viconia DeVir, for she is possibly one of my favorite NPCs of all times. While those four are my favorites there are so many more from those games that have put a smile on my face. Jan, Edwin, Yoshimo, and so many more. Baldurs Gate 2 is amazing.
Though I think I am getting sidetracked, the point of this post was not just for me to reminisce about a old favorite. Nay, it was for you to do the same! So tell me, if you wish, what your favorite companions in video games are and possibly why! Have fun.

The Halo marine Warthog passenger. That random NPC you decide to reward with your rocket launcher, your secret weapon that has unlimited ammo in the hands of the marine. So you go in charging, the turret operator has engaged, but rocket man is sitting idly. In fact, you’ve now cleared out half the enemy combatants and rocket man hasn’t fired a single shot. Until a ghost drives by a little too close and th- rocket fired and you’re dead. Thanks rocket man.

Mour from Skyrim - She's mouthy complaining about having to fight for you or carrying your stuff and is trolly tricking you by saying "I have your sweetroll". However she is reliable in a fight and powerful with her fire breath. Additionally Makeo, Miri and Amelia are decent Skyrim companions to have. Cait from Fallout 4 - I mainly just like her back story and how it progresses.

Leviathan from Skullgirls is a close runner up, but that’s also cheating because it’s the same voice actor & character archetype. :p Some runner ups include; Emil - NieR Replicant Kampan - Indivisible Nuna - Indivisible Zas - CrisTales Emilie - CrossCode Midna - LoZ: Twilight Princess Goombella - Paper Mario: TTYD And I’m sure there’s more, but those are the first to come to mind. I also want to say somebody from Bug Fables, but there’s not really a “main character” in Bug Fables. All three party members get about equal screentime, and you can play as al of them. So, eh… Everyone - Bug Fables [spoiler]On a side note, I just realized Emilie’s name is spelled “Emilie” not “Emille”, and I have likely been saying her name wrong this entire time.[/spoiler]
