Buff gold gun resistance to damage.
It literally has zero. You can use your super and die because of the animation. If it’s going to have ZEROO resistance than it needs a new animation because it takes way to long to ready your weapon

This was always a problem for me before, but now all supers are soft, so I’m ok with it now. If you know where they are, or will be, pop before you show up on radar. If you can... enter at the same time as a teammate, but from a different angle (preferably the least expected one). This forces them to watch both lanes, because they won’t know which one is you. Always pop behind cover, and never have your feet on the ground. Jumping catches anyone expecting you to approach at head level of guard and also helps you see more enemies from an elevated position.

No it doesn't. Its a hitscan super for crying out loud. If you need armour to survive a gunfight with it. You are using it incorrectly, Get better with it or use something else.

6 RepliesGG is really good now with the new throwing knife and mobility stat buff. I can see where the animation is a little slow but it doesn't need damage resistance. Its not a panic super like BB.

1 ReplyAnd the trade off is a instant one bang with no range fall off (bottom tree) or a fast firing mode for top. It doesnt need super armor, it never has. It's always been a great super and still is.

Bro just don’t pop your super where people can see you. If it had resistance is would be overpowered as you can one shot from any range.

3 one hit kills from across the map isn’t enough? It’s called a glass cannon. Golden gun is a top tier super for crucible now that the other roaming supers are nerfed.

Right now, gunslinger it’s the most balanced class in the game.

I have been trying to use it some cause of the knife changes but I get killed in the animation so much that I have already stopped using it. I was in a match crucible match earlier knew where the team was popped my golden gun before I rounded the corner but one guy ran around while I was in the animation and killed me with a melee a single melee from full health and there was literally nothing I could do. Then there are the times I did get it out then have to shoot the same player multiple time cause they didn't die.

47 RepliesNo -blam!-ing way!!! This super is broken as it is. You can pop it and get a team wipe across the team or on close range if you want. It can shutdown supers like nothing and the neutral game is pretty good. If you can't hit your shots or use like a normal person you wouldn't die to a primary ammo weapon.

I'd be okay with a quicker animation, but with Goldie you have to be smart with your activation.

Yup, it makes me not even want to use GG in pvp. The buffs are cool but the super is meh if we can instantly die in it smh

It's not only the lowest resilience super, but it is one of the slowest if not the slowest supers, and now it cant one hit in those situations. Seems terrible.

If you die because of the animation that's your fault. It should just have a slightly longer duration.
