Imma put this here for the people who have a problem with that:

3 RepliesGame Of Thrones season 8 won Emmy awards also, even after millions signed a petition agreeing it was crap Awards Shows are rigged ,and really have become a joke

12 RepliesEdited by SxfetyPin: 12/13/2019 4:41:36 AMThat has to be the most non-deserving award I've ever seen in my life. The community only agrees that the game is in a horrid spot, and has been ever since release. Bungie's over here like,"Buy our Season Pass. Buy our Expansions to experience the same exact core issues we had since launch but with a different skin on-- actually, a recolor because we can't be -blam!-ed to care."
-
Well deserved. Great game, great customer focused service. Good work Bungie 👍
-
2 RepliesYup, "so" is right. So what? They won one of the most insignificant awards of the night. You proud? Good for you. Meanwhile, in the category that mattered, "Best on-going Game" they lost to trash Fortnite, you mad hoe?
-
If Bungie support is considered "Best", I'd hate to see the "Worst".
-
2 RepliesHoly crap, how bad are other games support if this is the case. Do other games community support come to your house and kick you in the unmentionables every time you post on their forums or something...
-
4 RepliesGr8, now you can hang it on the wall next to your deluded fanboy award.
-
People keep talking about the "community outside of the forums" but I don't think that has anything (directly) to do with this award. This award as OP has described in his title is an award for how well Bungie has done with keeping in touch with their community and supporting them. Has nothing to do with the community itself. Also, something else that bothers me just a tiny bit is that this award is being labeled as "insignificant". It may be insignificant in the sense that Bungie might have bribed somebody for the award, but if a gaming company were to truly earn this award: That is impressive and important. Keeping up with your community and working with them is a huge part of managing a game. Just look at Respawn Entertainment who just came out with a new update recently for Jedi Fallen Order in response to some feedback they got. Many people are happy about it (including me)
-
Yeah but thats like saying "Im the smartest kid in remedial math" Not exactly a high bar.
-
2 RepliesImagine being a gamer and thinking that actually meant something... 🤣 It's literally an echochamber of ignorance and advertising just to make it more relateable to all you idiots who seems to think these award shows still seem to hold some sort of prestige or relevance. You still watch the VMA's too? How bout The Grammys?.. Genuinely makes me laugh that you think that shits run by people who give any sense of a shit about the opinions of people who already pay their bills its called PAYED advertising.
-
2 RepliesTo be honest it’s a wonderful community but most of the people coming to the forums are just dumb children having tantrums or neckbearded incels complaining that comp should be easier or making stupid excuses so bungie will make quests easier
-
12 RepliesThe community outside these forums is amazing. Not surprised the losers on here would be mad
-
2 RepliesLol I needed a good laugh. How much did they pay, I wonder?
-
6 RepliesCriticism is considered hatred nowadays anyway
-
Everyone saying the community support is great outside of these forums, but honestly what good is the community support ANYWHERE if the changes they make to the game are still sh!t and don't reflect the community feedback?
-
Just like when you guys were saying death stranding was rigged.
-
A well deserved reward if you look anywhere outside this forum of people slapping each others backs for every attack on bungie. ^-^
-
Believe it or not, the forums are the toxic minority of this community. Everywhere else its pretty rad

So happy they did. Put a lot of work in and constantly communicate on a numbers of subjects often to little or no thanks. Yes the game can be improved and they can still mess up when conveying information but they really do try and involve us in their decisions and thought processes.
-
The award was undeserved, and you know it.
-
Yeah I can see why everyone that was baffled by the award they were given. I’m kinda shocked as well because they only respond to people on Reddit constantly and never take a second look on here unless it’s a big issue, oh and on that platform (reddit) a lot of unnecessary nerfs were asked for. Even though a lot of people see us on here as toxic, this is still part of the community that bungie will ignore most of the time.
-
Well deserved. For the amount of shit the CMs have to wade through, that’s the least they could get. Courtney Hope got robbed though. I love me some Mads, but she was awesome in Control.
-
I don't think that this is about the community. I think it was about Bungies interactions with their community.
-
2 RepliesThey must have paid for that one. Unfortunately, I don’t think we have seen real money spent in the last few content releases verses previous years. Maybe this is there way of milking this game while at the same time trying to kill it once and for all? It’s not the Destiny we grew to love and should be called Testiny now.

how...
