[i]Two human prisoners chipped away at the their cell block doorlocated deep underground in the caves of Mount Fiko with a tool that had been slipped to them by a Ringleader supporter guard. They quickly were able to widen the hole enough to break the bars holding them in the cell off. It came off with a loud clang, causing a Neko guard to rush over to see what was going on. They quickly subdued him and took his weapons, armor, and most importantly, his keys. They moved quickly to unlock as many cell doors as possible and freed many prisoners. Just as they made it to the last cell block, a squad of guards taking a rope-driven wooden elevator down to middle of the prison noticed them and began to raise the alarm. [/i] “SOUND THE ALARM! THE TEST SUBJECTS ARE ESCAPING!” [i]A loud siren blared and more guards rushed down the many flights of natural cave stairs to get to bottom where the prisoners were kept. [/i] “Come on! We gotta get out of here!” [i]One prisoner said to the other, who nodded in reply. They charged the guards, who immediately went into a phalanx position by the elevator. The guards on top of the pulley system began to pull it back up as clashes broke out between prisoners and guards on the upper levels. As the guards moved forward as one unit, the two prisoners rethought their strategy.[/i] “This way!” [i]One yelled to the other.[/i] “To the caves! They’re so deep they’ll never find us!” [i]The other prisoner followed closely behind, trying not to listen to the massacre of prisoners occurring behind him. After a short while, they reached an opening. Two other prisoners had apparently gotten the same idea they had, but they were locked in combat on a narrow passageway ahead of them with a Zealot class guard. This guard held a bow staff and despite being attack from both sides, he was holding his own. He wacked the first prisoner’s knee before jabbing at his throat, causing him to lose his balance and tumble off the natural bridge into the pits below. The second prisoner swung a sword he must have gotten from one of the guards but the Zealot blocked that with ease, cracking the bow staff across his face with such force it sent him also flying down the pit. As the prisoner’s screams faded, the Zealot slowly looked up at the original two prisoners and smiled. His eyes were covered by a mask, making the grin feel creepy. [/i] “Uhhhh shit, we gotta get out of here!” [i]They both ran the way they had come as they heard a horrible screech coming from the room they were just in. The one furthest behind turned to look over his shoulder only to see a blur as the Zealot overtook him. He cried out at the Zealot smashed his head into the rocky wall with his staff. He fell like a sack of potatoes and lay still. The other prisoner came to a fork and took the way he knew he hadn’t come from. Suddenly, from out of nowhere, the floor disappeared into a deep chasm. He let out a gasp as he nearly fell in, some pebbles he feet stirred up clinked off the rocks as they descended down. He turned slowly to face his pursuer. The Zealot advanced much more slowly, taking his time. [/i] “Please... No...” [i]The Zealot smiled again, and this time grabbed the prisoner by the throat, raising him high off the ground as he struggled to breath.[/i] “Long live Neko-kind. Long live the princess.” [i]The Zealot’s voice was raspy and sounded demonic. After he spoke he tossed the prisoner into the abyss. He walked away, listening to the screams get quieter and quieter.[/i] [i]Long Live Nekos.[/i] [spoiler]If you join in this RP please roleplay as a prisoner. You’ll have minimal equipment, perhaps a piece of armor or two and maybe a plasma sword or spear. Please think realistically but I’ll let you have create freedom on this.
