Don't pay for weapons, boosting, raid clears, farming, or anything of that matter.
-They are way overpriced for how easily you can do them.
-You don't know who's getting onto your account.
-You can always find people on LFG.
-Its a waste of money.
-Its more rewarding to do by yourself instead of having someone else do it.
-Raids aren't hard.
-You can get forsaken exotics from Xur or drops.
-Try to do it yourself because you CAN do it.

I can't do anything competitive (I tried, sunshot... I mean allegro... drang, I mean [b]trust[/b] me!), but I'm not going to pay anyway. Other than that, good motivation. If concussed guy in his foteys, with terrible k/d (0.3) could get through Last Word (have it) and Thorn grind (lost motivation to play before I finished Savathun Opera:D) - you definitely can.
