It’s Ok skippy, Destiny is a shooter about grinding for crutch weapons an using crutch weapons, just be self aware enough to recognize the fact.

I’ve done it all in destiny. I’ve dropped 40 kills with suros and a badlander. I’ve dropped 40 with inaugural address and chap. 40 with ace and sidearm. 40 with Polaris lance, graviton, vigi wing. Whatever you name, I’ve done it. I’ll tell you what some players here don’t admit: how bad they are at this game regardless of the meta.

I have a challenge for you then. Use a vigi wing, sidearm, and sins of the past and get 40 kills. Not 40 defeats, 40 kills. I bet you can’t do it. Because vigi wing, sidearm, and sins of the past are so crutch. You’re just a whiner. Go play a different game.

I’m not complaining about you using crutch weapons, just pointing out you don’t seem to be aware that in Destiny it’s more about the weapons you have than the player you are. And that’s fine. It’s a looter shooter, why would you be grinding for loot if it wasn’t better than what you start with? If you wanted balance you would be playing another game.

The day I care about someone else’s loadout so much that I scurry to the forums to start trying to drag players over their weapon choices, I’ll go play something else. You wanna use LH/NF-DRB-Wardcliff? Great. Last Word/Sniper? Awesome. Bygones Telesto? Go nuts. I don’t care.

If you wanted to test your ability you’d be playing a level playing field game. Keep using your crutches, don’t use your crutches, it doesn’t matter to me either way. As I said Destiny Crucible is all about grinding for those crutches and using them.

There’s no better indicator that this isn’t the game for you and there is no shame in that. What you’re doing now is just embarrassing yourself. I’m still going to use whatever I feel like using and trying to shame people for weapon choices is just sad.
