I was playing a match of control the other day and there was this one guy absolutely destroying our ears because we were getting thoroughly destroyed. The two main things he was screaming was how the game is "unfair" and how it is "unbalanced". Which brings me to why I made this post cause the more people who understand this the better. The crucible is unbalanced. If you are looking for a balanced competitive multiplayer experience, don't play Destiny 2. Play Titanfall or Black ops 4 or any other game, just stay away from Destiny 2. A core component of this game are these god roll weapons which give players a significant advantage over each other, which does tip the odds of winning away from you. It is important to understand this so you can tune your expectations when playing Destiny. The crucible is not an ultra competitive battleground where everyone is on a level playing field and skill determines the Victor. Gear plays a huge part in this battleground and once you understand the crucible for what it is, the more enjoyment you will get out of it.
