If players can’t handle a couple of crucible matches then they don’t deserve the weapon simple. Stop crying because it’s too hard for you 😭

It’s not too hard for me, in 3 games I was at 67% of my kills and I’m very average. But no need to say someone who’d like a quest to be more doable for them personally is a crybaby. Just shows an elitist attitude.

I'm already finished with the crucible part of the quest, it only took a few matches, and I still think that loss mechanics in quests are stupid. All they do is allow the better players to get the better weapons faster, making it harder for less skilled players to compete, and in turn, harder for them to get those weapons. Just because you got it doesn't mean that you should completely ignore everyone else's experiences. It's a game. Everyone who plays it is supposed to have fun. Many people aren't having fun right now because of this. Therefore, it should be resolved. Keep your elitism out of the forums, it doesn't help anyone.

There isn’t any elitism. Loss mechanics help increase your skill. There needs to be somewhat (even tho it’s not even) of a challenge to get the gun.

The challenge would be exactly the same if loss mechanics weren't a part of it. It would just take less time and be less infuriating for lesser skilled players. Remember that it isn't even up to the player themselves if they do well. The garbage matchmaking could put them in a match they just can't win. An enemy could be running Luna's Howl and Dust Rock and just clean house. It isn't just jumping over a hurdle. It's jumping over a hurdle that constantly changes height and throws you back 20 feet if you mess up too many times.

Loss mechanics are literally the exact same thing as raid encounters... oh, you messed up? You get reset. Except this quest step is so easy it doesn’t even matter. I highly doubt that most of the lesser skilled portion of the community has less than a .5 kd, because that is all you need to maintain progress in the step.

A raid encounter is the exact same every time you do it. There aren't any uncontrolled or unforseen variables. Kalli doesn't pull out Thunderlord and team wipe you.

Good point. Either way, I think loss mechanics are very good ways to make “”””””content”””””” last longer. You’re not good at crucible? Improve! When you finally hit thwt 100% you’ll feel so accomplished. But you’re entitled to your own opinion.
