All of those sandbox changes, and the Telesto nerf will just make LH/NF/Shotguns even more OP.
Seriously.
The only thing that was able to work around long range shottys and scrubs teamshooting with LH/NF was the Telesto. With it gone, we are zeroing in on 6 months of handcannon/shotgun meta, thats the worst and most tired crap in D2 so far. Jotun is quasi unobtainable for people not on RNGjesus's good side, and there is no weapon archetype that can contest the DRB/LH/NF holy trinity.
Te people who got em, have nothing else to do and they will just wtf own quickplay just like you see from all of the "Pvp streamers" making glorious vids popping dudes in blues with the above.

3 RepliesHonestly, the Luna's Howl and the Not Forgotten shouldn't exist in the first place. They're primary ammo weapons that literally circumvent the TTK. Then again, they can't remove them now that they're here because there would be an uproar of people who have earned them.

Before we know the actual buffs coming to Autos and Scouts you can’t say this patch will only improve shotguns and Luna/NF. Personally I’m looking forward to the 200 rpm Scout buff. The Mida is still my go to when shit gets bad. Any improvement is appreciated.

And with today's TWAB, they just nerfed proximity special grenade launchers, making the current meta even more meta... nobody was even complaining about grenade launchers. Who are the sandbox developers? Please get new ones.

Trace rifles (specifically coldheart) actually do quite well verses a shotgun rusher. With the upcoming buff to there ammo I think they will be quite viable.

We've already had 5 months of shotgun and hand canon meta anyway. Telesto also isn't the only weapon viable to counter them, any.good roll on a fusion rifle can do it, telesto just insta kills if you hit a wall with it and someone clips a single bolt. Also Jötunn sucks ass anyway, anyone who has it can say that it's far too inconsistent to have a place in any meta. It's fun to mess around with but only if you don't plan on winning your fights with it cause the tracking can and WILL screw you over.

It doesn't kill in every scenario but a pre thrown grenade, a well placed jump and that sweet sweet pistol action will make those shotty users regret rushing you. Don't believe me? 7 RepliesFirst of all its not a nerf its a fix as curretly telesto is LITERALLY broken and doing damage beyond its archetype. Second of all, people that think the only counter to shotguns and LH/NF is telesto and wavesplitter are absolute garbage. There are loads of alternatives that arent just an easy no risk, maximum reward delete button, stop blaming your lack of skill on shotguns and lunas.

I'm so glad teleso is getting a nerf.i would've preferred it going to the heavy slot but this is shit better because now less ppl will use it.and yeah alot of ppl don't touch comp after getting nf/Luna's. Comp is a shitty playlist esp in the higher glory ranks. It takes so long to find a match and the game modes are crap.

Every time I see a lame boring YouTuber make a video about owning, it’s like they think we don’t see that level 17 guy getting shot 4 times a row. And their stupid hype videos about new guns; “Jötunn IS OP!” stupid picture as a thumb nail. It’s shit, if the enemy team is competent, they aren’t going to get hit by that Jötunn like those low level players they always face in their Quickplay videos. I mean, they have to do comp or a tournament they switch to dust rock not forgotten and wardcliff immediately
