2 RepliesI think she'll be fine with it. She was never all that attached to Cayde. The people who will likely take his death the hardest will probably be Ikora (He knew her well enough to know where she'd go in her hour of greatest need and vulnerability) ..... ...and (ironically) Eris Morn. Although their personalities were complete opposites, there was a clear----frustrated----mutual attraction between the two. A pretty intense one. Had you locked the two of them in a room, you'd have either come back to find one of them dead....or the two of them madly in love with each other.

19 RepliesShe's not the only NPC. A lot of people will have to deal with it, each in their own way. Zavala will insist that his death must be avenged, and every Scorn put down. Ikora will be enigmatic as always, but will feel the loss keenly. Holliday will probably immerse herself in her work. Failsafe will probably talk much more nicely about him. Or maybe admit she's not surprised. Tess will keep trying to sell us Guardian bling.

Why would she? She seems from everything we know, to have more of a bond (I use that loosely) with Zavala than Cayde.
