The game's been out for like 3 months. D1 took 3 years to get it right. Relax.

XD Time to wait another 3 years.
-
They had those 3 years to learn from D1 and implement it into D2 you desticle cuck.

Someone's angsty

Hahahahaha uppercut yourself
-
LMFAO So they didn't learn anything in them 3 years? Got it
-
That is some really bad logic
-
-
So how much should a complete game cost? Also - are you suggesting that Bungie didn't learn anything from over 2 decades of developing games? It seems really rude of you to suggest that Bungie doesn't know how to release a full game, or is otherwise purposefully making the game worse, only to lower expectations of the customer base, so they are viewed as a great developer when they make more money selling back the pieces they already knew everyone wanted in the first place...
-
I used to buy into that view, but I just can't anymore. There were so many improvements to D1 over it's 3 years that should have been included in D2.
-
I never bought into that... Why should we as consumers? If Bungie was brand new at gaming... MAYBE. But then if that were the case, what publisher would have picked it up?
-
Lol if I keep seeing this argument, I’m gonna blow my brains out. You shouldn’t have to wait for D2 to get better because you would think D2 would just improve on how D1 ended. Be bigger and better. Not take several steps backwards. So no, stop with that bs

Don’t worry it’s just a beta
topkek
..... you dumb piece of shit. IS DESTINY 1 EXISTING OR IS THERE NO DESTINY 1??? how can you release a sequel with less stuff than the prequel? I am done with this cancerous dumb community in destiny 1 the community was great but in 2 with the -blam!-ing casuals who don't understand the problems... I'm done

I'm done
What do you mean less stuff? Were they suppose to give us 4 raids right off the back? Yes, they need major and I mean major stuff fixed. But this game has way more stuff then D1 at this same time in the game. Don’t be so toxic!
-
Less stuff as in selectable PvP modes, larger teams, not smaller, same size fireteams, less loot combinations, etc... (the list is quite extensive)
Less stuff as in selectable PvP modes, larger teams, not smaller, same size fireteams, less loot combinations, etc... (the list is quite extensive)
I was talking to the guy being an ass. A smaller fire team in PvP isn’t considered less stuff. We have way more stuff then destiny year one. Do keep in mind that they do need to add more things to grind for. No for PvP the maps are small to have a 6 man fire team. That would just be a mess ( worse then it is now). With the loot, yes they need to add more to strikes and so on. But at the end it’s far more stuff then destiny year one.

Roger. Regarding your comment about PvP and map size... I wouldn't suggest taking a small map and making in 8v8. I was suggesting taking the previous 6v6 and making it more grand - with bigger maps (not "vehicle" big, but just big enough to support naturally), perhaps introducing 6v6, 8v8, and possible even 12v12. I believe we should be moving forward with technology - not backwards. The technology is there, but Bungie appears to not be able to support dedicated servers. This new hybrid method that everybody thought was going to cure cancer isn't much better than the previous method (reducing lag, hit registration, etc...). Sorry. I know this wasn't the discussion you intended. Feel free to ignore me.

I admit they did take a lot of stuff out. But D1 was just as bad as D2 at launch. People are clearly in favor of the 3 year old game over this one, that makes sense. Just use whatever little faith you might have left in bungie and hope that after three years, it'll be a fantastic game. Especially since this one is next gen consoles only. They will be able to do so much more. Technically they should have more stuff to do in D2 than current D1 in like, 1/4 the time but whatever. After say it's 2nd dlc, and they still don't have jack shit to do, then I understand hating bungie.

How much do you expect to pay for a game that "works" as you expected?

Edited by AcidRohnin: 12/7/2017 4:07:10 PMPersonally vanilla D1 was better. You could almost back this up as fact if it wasn’t for PvP. If someone only played PvP, it might not be due to balance being an issue. Personally I loved D1 PvP. I embraced the chaos. D1 you were powerful. Weapons were powerful. Exotics were awesome and meant something. Light level mattered some in iron banner. The raid was dope, the gear from it was dope, the exotic raid weapon was dope. Sure it had its short comings but was still fun to play and things meant something. 3 months in and I probably had a few wow moments in D1. Xur coming. Getting my first exotic, suros. Getting stomped in iron banner, while killing the few higher level players I could. Seeing the might that was the ghorn. Getting the truth. First 90 degree shot lol. Playing PvP due to it being fun. Queens emissary coming. First NF completed hiding under the stairs fight rockets mcdickface. Grinding for planet mats and doing the map glitch for them. Grinding for motes. Glitching through the VoG door to get the first chest(hadn’t ran raids yet; thought I never would be able too.) LOOT CAVE! #1purplethatturned2ablue (T-T) Idk if I’ve had a single moment like this in D2 yet and we are at about the same point.

That was pretty much my experience in D1. Lots of flaws, yet it was so fun due to what it had, hence, it's replayabilty. I asked my clan why we're willing to jump back on WotM instead of Leviathan, and we all concluded it's because of the 'fun' factor. I know that's subjective, but it's our truth. There isn't any new gear to obtain from the old raids, but we go back to play them because they are truly fun. Does that mean Leviathan isn't? I guess not... I mean, so many elements go into the concoction we call "fun", but I can be clear on one of those factors: the music. One of the greatest assets that D1 delivered was it's musical score, lead by one of the original Bungie team members, Marty O'Donnell. For those of you who haven't seen the interview of one of the greatest composers in history, I suggest you check it out. Anyway, I must admit that the score behind Destiny 1 made the game feel bigger than it was. Everything had a theme! D2's music is generic as hell, and when playing the Leviathan, I really have nothing to latch onto, IMO. All I remember is the theme that plays when the dogs emit their Psionic Howl lol. The Leviathan, although great in concept, and a solid challenge across it's multiple thresholds, still feels like it's missing a few things. Music is one of them, as does the entire game lacks. If there's anything else I can think of, it might be that as much I eventually wanted to face the Cabal Emperor, I really feel we should've faced Ghaul in the Leviathan. If there's anything Curse of Osiris can do right, it's to play the time game via Vex and face Ghaul where we were meant to. I doubt that'll happen. My passion for this universe clouds the truth of it all: this game sucks. Unfortunately I was an idiot and bought the expansion pass as a pre-order. I'm gonna play what I paid for, as it'll only take me a couple of hours. Fortunately, next year there's gonna be a game called Anthem. Will it be the so-called "Destiny Killer" just as No Man's Sky and The Division were questioned to be? Nah. Destiny killed itself. For those who love the potential of Destiny but hate how it's become (and likely to continue to be), well, maybe I'll see you there. Continue to be skeptical folks. And sorry for the rant. This is my last post on Destiny, unless by some Christmas miracle the stars align and Bungie actually revamps the game. Dare I dream? -blam!- this game. And -blam!- Bungie.

That's not a good look, and communicating with people in that way will get you nowhere.

I know but I just can't communicate anymore with those ignorant fools in an normal way, because they don't understand what this game could/should have been..
