Once we select the character that we want to port..
Will we...
Be able to change..

Even though all my characters are ugly, I'm still going to port all my characters unedited to keep that authentic feeling going, like this is my guardian and his legend not multiple guardians.

Agreed. Destiny is not a mmorpg, but only by technicality. Give us a barber location. And an appearance/costuming system like other mmorps have.

Probably end up only importing my Hunter. Create fresh alternates in D2. Though changing the Tatoo or Hair would have been nice. But that means they would have added new hair/tatoo styles/colors.

1 ReplyBeing able to Change your guardian's appearance anytime would be nice & is something they should allow us to do. I hate all 3 of mine, therefore keep the helmet on at all times.

It is confirmed that you do not have the option to NOT import your character if you're staying ok the same platform. Your only option is to start D2, get your rewards, erase your character, and start again. I was willing to overlook the lack of import for silver, that no emblems, emotes, or any of this was coming back. But this is just a slap to the face. Why even bother? It's like Bungie is tugging on our shirt going, "Hey look! It's your same guardian! You can't edit it cause then it wouldn't be the same! Look "continuity" because we have nothing else to show for or justify character transfers! We are too lazy to make a new character creation system because that means having to make a new animation framework for faces and -blam!- that! We copy-pasted everything! What's that? At least let you edit your character and add a couple new hairstyles? HILARIOUS. Give us 60 dollars!"

I'm curious if I can port certain ones and not others. I'd like to bring my titan and warlock over and start fresh on hunter to make him awoken. Then I'd have 1 of each race

Kinda defeats the purpose of character transfer if you are going to change its appearance. Just create a new character

I feel like i'm being punished or something, it feel like i am chained to the system i started with. Which honestly feels wrong..i earned these achievements, if they offer all these incentives to switch to ps4 why must i get screwed either way? Stick with the system i'm tied to and miss exclusives..or switch and turn into a kinderguardian..it's wrong bungie..

To be frank, I can only conclude that l must've been highly intoxicated or under duress, because not [b]ONLY[/b] does he have a "[b][i]Man - Bun[/i][/b]", but to top it off he [b]ALSO[/b] has some " [b][i]White Stuff[/i][/b] " all over his left eye area. To be honest, it's embarrassing. So I beg of you, Bungie please help a brother out, or at the very leaste, an option to make our character put his/her's face on a red hot grill for a desired time and maybe a max time of 1 minutes.

If there is nothing to gain by importing, Im not going to bother and will start with fresh characters. One looks like hes 90 due to me thinking white hair would look cool, but really he should be dead. One looks like he belongs in a boy band because of his long fringe and doesnt even look old enough to play. One looks like hes had a rough night drinking and has the biggest hangover ever due to me thinking a light green awoken would be different but really he looks like a mint ice cream cone. No thanks I will start again.
