During the reveal today bungie stated all pvp modes were going to be 4vs4, while as a diehard halo fan I love 4v4 I don't want it in every playlist.
6vs6 means I can run with more friends and just goof around. Rumble means I can improve my gunskill in the 1vs1 battle that happen. Doubles is usually intense, close matches. 3vs3 shouldn't be forgotten either.
Why would all modes be 4s? Have them at a majority but include a 6vs6, 3vs3, rumble, doubles and maybe even 5vs5.
Or how about multi team? 3 teams of 4, or 4 teams of 3?
I really don't understand why they'd scrap something that worked for D1.
I thought with no old gen we'd even get a 8vs8, certainly not only smaller teams then D1 had.

Bump! Let's make better clan support but remove 1 of 2 activities that can have 6...?

I don't like the 4v4 idea either.

Wait, something in Crucible worked in D1? News to me.

3 Replies8vs8 on huge maps with some vehicles could be really fun

Ya. 4v4 for the base game seems great. But for EVERY playlist? Does that mean no FFA?
-
Kind of disappointed as well, that means smaller maps too, but maybe more stable connections? Hope there's some BTB later though

10 RepliesI think they're trying to push for more competitive games but i feel this can backfire especially if they bring back PVE and PVP related exotic quest lines, im hoping they reconsider and bring back 6v6 at the very least, and does this mean no more trials?
