Pretty impossible for anyone to give an honest answer until we spend time actually playing it. Some stuff looks good, some look like absolutely terrible choices, but I guess we will find out next week.

I use Hopscotch Pilgrim as my primary for my main, so not too worried about the patch. I don't like the special ammo crap though. I don't use shotguns, so I'm happy to see them get nerfed though I would have preferred they buff other guns instead. But this is Bungie we're talking about. Heads in the sand as always.

Weapons, yes. Change of pace is nice and Autos needed the help. Subclasses not as much, don't like the BD change, I don't think the landfall nerf was needed and they overdid the jug nerf. And I'm iffy on the special ammo nerf, I'll have to play it and see how that pans out. So right in the middle for now I guess

11 RepliesI still think that bungie needs to address the lag.. and by address it, I mean tell the player base that in a perfect world, the changes they have made would make a big difference however, when battling balance and lag, it just can't be done at this time due to the player pool being so small. We are still going to see shots through walls and around corners and flying titans blinking around with shotguns etc.. because it has everything to do with the network connection and nothing to do with the balance in the game. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all play on the closed server that bungie plays on to test everything instead of a live world wide web.. oh wait that would mean dedicated servers..

I don't understand why Hungering Blade was nerfed or why Sunsingers and Gunslingers didn't get anything to help compensate for how much they were hurt by the previous nerfs. I really think Arcbolt should've gotten a slight buff, which would've made things more fair for Bladedancers and Stormcallers, who also got a nerf.

Maybe we should actually TRY it before we form an opinion? Just a thought. I know everyone loves to throw their opinion in though, even though no one has ANY idea how it's going to effect the meta, so maybe you should create a poll asking if this post is premature or not, I say ya... Fill me in.

Ehh.. not sure how they nerfed hungering blade, if anything they dhould have added a cooldown but kept the full regen. Also, we may see genesis chain become the new clever dragon

Remember the pvp event they held before the ttk release when we all thought sidearms were going to be the only thing used. I think that's about to become a thing.

Further degradation of weapons and subclasses as a whole. The outcome is the game is more watered down and less FUN to play. Good job Dev. Team
