What was the thing that finally made you stop playing?

Not enough story to make me care about what I'm doing. Without a reason to continue shooting things in the face it just got boring. I held on to the hope that Bungie would start telling a richer story. I bought RoI hoping that it would be another step in the right dirrection, but in my opinion it was pretty lame. I haven't played since. If new games weren't so damn expensive I'd probably still be looking at D2, but I'm not rolling the dice on a new game made by a company I've lost faith in. I don't know if I'd say Destiny is dead, but it is to me. D2 is going to have to have a story before I begin to think about buying it the year it comes out.

Flamethrower tanks in BF1. I'm a sucker for viable diversity and a stable connection with lobbies bigger than what we had in 1997. Destiny didn't have a chance; too bad it didn't come earlier. (Now, 4 DLCs for $50 in total seems like the deal of the century after getting fleeced here for 2 years.)

Now let me elaborate: Trials: this single PVP mode is what tell us what to use and not to use. It nerfed my ammo, it nerfed my hadcannon acurracy, it changed how much time my super will stay on and how good is my super. Before you say something, i have gone flawless a few time (back on year one, when my friends used to play this game). Vault Space: Why i would like to hunt new weapons if i'm deleting great weapons for an year already. LFG: man, used to do 3 VoGs, 3 CEs and 3 Prison of elders in y1, every single week, and even KF in year 2. But now, there are only kids there (being a kid isn't a problem mainly becuase i can play two hours per day, while them can play the entire F****** day). The other day i've got kicked because i didin't chit chat with them. WTH! They kicked me, after a looser made us wipe like 10 times... Now, unless they put MM in destiny2 i wont even come back... EDIT: Sorry for my english.

2 RepliesI don't think the game is dead for sure but just had a guy post this as a reply to me about matchmaking. I was saying how numbers are so low it is hard to have a working system at all and this is his response talk about delusions. "There's enough players online, destiny still has more players logging in to play each day then most current releases"

Lack of major content to keep satisfaction. The recent one was a flop, and nothing until April

PVP is a joke. Clever Matador only. BF1 is amazing and DICE does updates constantly. Also beat Wolfenstein. Got my platinum for Fallout 4. Playing Borderland 2 with the girlfriend. Destiny is not fun anymore

They made it too easy and too fast to hit max light. Once you have a selection of max light weapons and armour there is not much point doing anything. Equally the raid was not very challenging and you went into the hard raid already overpowered. When vog came out it took awhile to beat it ; it was genuinely challenging and you felt as if you achieved something. With worm it was too short and not challenging, weapons are not great, don't look special and the raid gear is awful, particularly the warlock gear, ( just my opinion!!). Shame really but I find little reason playing anymore, just dip in and out for no particular reason anymore. Even if they upgrade the old raids it's a bit late as destiny 2 is hopefully not far off, so ultimately what is the point of the grind just to abandon it when the next game comes out. Finally, it is annoying that they keep changing things and now the weapons feel inferior, exotics not special at all and armour just reskinned old stuff. Great shame that they could not make destiny a unique game as promised

pvp lag fest, the meta doesnt bother me also my clan fell apart so i was back to being solo playing bf1, titanfall 2 and and occasionally cod mwr, mainly bf1

PvP, and the grind. I moved onto Dark Souls 1 (thank you backwards compatibility of the Xbox 1). This will be my second platinum of it. Also, at least with Dark Souls, From is very up front about fraking us. They don't make weekly posts on the forums saying, "we're working on something, tune in next week for more details, " when next week arrives it's, "more details was that we'll have more details next week, be sure to tune in." Come on Bungie, if you're going to frak the community at least be like From and be up front about it.

Gone from raiding weekly to not raiding at all so ive been collecting the queens armour but in all honesty im more or less done for a while. Balance inbound great times ahead lol
