"Update is available". Or is it?
I just got a message in game on Xbox One that an update us available for download but it's actually not available according to my Xbox. Can someone help me out here?

7 RepliesI have the patch downloaded and installed. Tried to pop a few exotic engrams and use a crucible rank up, as i read exocits would drop up to 400 light now. I am currently 387 light, and my exotic engrams and crucible rank up decrypted at 384 and 385. WHY? Thats so frustrating, giving the light increase that was supposed to come with the patch. Or do they simply not activate it untill 2pm pst?

For all those wondering why nothing seems to have changed after the download, Bungie decided strangely to wait till 2pm Pacific (10pm UK time for me) to turn on the light level increases and heroic raid. Thanks again Bungie, nobody gives a shit who completes the raid first!

Why is the nightfall not at 380 and heroic not available. There's players already playing heroic. This is -blam!-ing bullshit bungie. -blam!- you.

3 RepliesI've downloaded it and the version is up to date but actual effects of the patch are not released yet, despite bungie saying it's being released at 10am pst 1pm est which is already -blam!-ing passed.

Well, like most IT guys, they underestimate the amount of FUBAR they are about to unleash on you, they understate how long it will mess with you, and they refuse to acknowledge that there will be problems (for a week) that they failed to identify before the "upgrade". I'd rather they just said "sorry folks, we're adding some really neat things (at least to us), that will ruin your day here, so go away, and come back tomorrow. Have a good one...". I wouldn't like it any better, but I'd have some respect for them...

2 RepliesSame here. I'm on PS4 and I've closed the game 5 times now and restarted and no patch. I got the message when I started up the game, after 10am PST, that the patch was available but then nothing.

1 ReplyEdited by P3RZIANZ3BRA: 10/18/2016 5:18:20 PMIt's out now. Just close Destiny and reopen the app. When you reopen it, it should act like it just crashed, but bring up a screen telling you there's an update available. Edit: Forgot to mention it's about 520 MBs.
