Sunsinger Buff
Ever since touch of flames perk change and other nerfs you never see a sunsinger in crucible they are extinct in the current meta

3 RepliesViking funeral needs to be placed back to its original perk. But the damage over time can be slightly reduced then. Imo, i thought the sunsinger was just fine as always. Anyway, I dont care that the class got adjusted. but removing and replacing a core perk? That was too much and unnescessary. Thats like eating spare ribs for 2 years, and suddenly the government decides that all spare ribs should be sold without the Bone ribs and just the meat. A nostalgic, Base trait feeling gets taken from you (thats the metafor lol)

1 ReplyThey just can't be used as thoughtlessly as before. Right now in Trials due to the map a Sunsinger with double fusions is pretty scary.

I don't think it needs a direct buff. I believe that it just needs a rework to most of it's abilities (basically changing how some work to make them more consistent and good choices).

1 ReplyI still use it. Sure my kd isn't the same as before but I can still have a solid game and screw over alot of people with my solar grenades. Plus we still have self res lol it will always be useful now if your like the rest of my warlock brethren then you stopped using it cause it was a crutch. And that's sad.

-VF needs to last longer and be more viable -Solar wind needs to be changed -Song of flame needs a buff and visual appearance -Allies with the song of flame buff should make orbs on kills. -HotPF only gives you one more grenade throw during spam super.

6 RepliesI still use my sunsinger. Neutral game is still strong even with the nerfs, and now with the new artifact "memory of skorri" we can do what we are always meant to do, support our team by recharging there super. Imo I think that's a better trade than charging there grenades.

12 Replies... everyone got so attached to firebolts you all lack in the creativity of fusion grenades xD. Run claws and double fusion grenades, max armor with solar armor chest and icreased dmg resist. You can tank a freaking sniper rifle, your melee and grenades are instant kills.... now you just have to aim with your grenades :p

It still has fusions and one of the most irritating melees in the game, only second to thunderstrike.

Edited by Dano2point0: 9/30/2016 7:15:07 PMSunsinger is still my main but I like to use Solar Grenades, Sunbreakers, and Radiant Will. Even before the nerf this was my preferred playstyle. Firebolt Grenades seemed to be little more dependent on Viking Funeral than Solar Grenades.Anyways, I think it was a big mistake with the direction Bungie took trying to balance the subclass. They gutted that particular style of play for Sunsinger.
