ICEBREAKER for Rise Of Iron!!
Please Bungie allow that exotic sniper to make a come back, I know we are getting a lot of new exotics but still I really miss the old sound that sniper makes. (sure i have year one version but still its needs love)
An Exotic Quest Line for it would be nice as well. upvote this for the a possible ICEBREAKER returned.

Once in awhile, I'll see someone running with the icebreaker. Brings back memories of pissing people off so much so, that they would just fixate on trying to kill me. The rest of the match.

Guardian out.....[/quote] I agree I also have an icebreaker and would love to see it return to year 3 with the thorn and Vex Mythoclast. Bungie if your able to bring those 2 back bring back the ice breaker as well.

3 RepliesOr They could have just altered the perk, like they did with Black Hammer...I mean, Black Spindle. Rather than constant regen, it could be a CHANCE (say 70%) at a creating a SHORT period of regen (10 secs?), when you land a critical KILL. This eliminates the Boss cheesing capability because if you're sitting in a corner shooting the boss, the regen effect is never going to trigger. And even if smaller enemies are constantly spawning, there's not enough enemies to accommodate a whole fire team using any of those cheese strategies. You'd run out of adds and ammo. Something like that. As with Most of the changes Bungie has made to major weapons that people really like, they used a very heavy handed approach, rather than using a very creative approach. The people dedicated to the game make the game possible. Otherwise it'd be Battlebourne.

If I run a strike with a friend who sits in the back with an Icebreaker, it does nothing to remove [b][u]my[/u][/b] enjoyment of Destiny. Unless it ruins the game for you personally, don't let the way other people want to play PVE upset you. Bungie needs to get that concept. Icebreaker was fun, but if you hate it, here's a simple idea... Don't use it.

5 RepliesI'm not sure why people are acting like ice breaker broke PVE. Snipers were used twice as much this year. If you really wanted to camp you still could with special/heavy synths. The only difference between IB and the other 3 exotic snipers, is that people like to use it.

I have an idea for ice breaker: What about making the shots regen really slow, but you can get ammo bricks and make the shots regen faster. I think this would be perfect for the gun.

2 RepliesJust announced, the icebreaker is being added to rise of iron. Only, it's been rebalanced for ironic erection, so every time you pull the trigger the weapon explodes in your hands and sets you on fire while generating a hologram of all the bullies of your childhood who point at you and laugh. Bungie swears this was the only way to prevent it from being op.

5 RepliesBungie is just shit honestly. I'm still plenty triggered by having my guns taken away from me. Destiny fails hard and continues to do so. I had high hopes for bungies game and check back in #Destiny to see if anything good has happened, but since I left in October it's more disappointing than anything.

Bungie has already made it perfectly clear why they aren't bringing Ice Breaker back. For PVE it made a passive game state and for PVP it made it so players could have unlimited sniper ammo in Trials.

5 Repliesbesides the black hammer the icebreaker was my goto sniper rifle. i for one would love to see the icebreaker make a comeback (i loved that little laser based sniper rifle). but bungie won't alow it because people sit back sniping too much with it (isn't that whats happening most of the time in crucible right now?).

1 ReplyWhat about a self replicating magazine line invective. Basically it will be exactly like it was but if it's mag is empty you have to find ammo. So it you shoot it until there is one shot it will still regenerate. Also I want the very slim chance that it will explode in you face and almost kill you.
